If Smith is a fan of Norvell I don’t even know what to say. He’s a good X&O coach, but their WRs didn’t do a **** thing ours didn’t.

46/639/11 for Coleman
39/596/2 for Wilson

74/993/5 for X
55/851/8 for JG
47/563/5 for Young

I mean wtf else. The goalposts have moved the whole time. Your boys are all going to Miami. Beard has elevated the WR room big time. I get playing for Hartline. But Dugans?

And it’s supposed to be Cornball *** Norvell? Nah. It’s somewhere away from mama and the FAMU honey’s are where it’s at.

Can somebody explain what I’m missing here? All his boys are coming here. Our receivers made a huge jump this year in this offense. The program as a whole is looking up. He has the opportunity to break the internet and be a certified city legend by coming here. On top of all that, a fat NIL deal in the best city to have money. Let’s go Mario turn up the heat!!!

We don’t know that. We paid a lot for that class. But that aside, none of them are Smith. He’s the unicorn no one has been able to recruit here since Butch. He would be the canary in the coal mine for the rest of the country.
Yall always hyping up the next recruit like the be all end all. No he is not, he is an elite player but we also got other elite players. Whats more hard to get WRs or elite DL? We got Bain and just flipped Scott. Its not about getting one player, its getting a bunch of them together

Agreed. As if Francis wasn't a 'canary' last year already, or just flipping Scott as well.

If Mario gets Smith, I forgive him for GT.

I don't. I'll never forgive him for GT. And I went to school with Mario and like him very much.

But a terrible decision is a terrible decision. And until I hear the plan for hiring someone to monitor the clock and timeouts, I am worried that Mario will make the same mistake A THIRD TIME.

Youn might be the slowest big wr I watched all year. Takes 6 steps to get to full speed and lacks any lateral agility. Very stiff and plodding. Watch teams like Washington Oregon and Lsu who all have big wrs who are sudden and explosive. Why we call screens for young knowing he can't excelerate is beyond me. By the time he takes 3 steps the entire D has collapsed on him. He should be getting fade balls to use his size with the occasional slant but that's about it for the route tree with a guy that isn't sudden with his length.
Lol it’s just cause of how we use the guy. Should be running slants, curls/hooks, in and out breaking routes, posts fades, deep comebacks and corner routes. You don’t need to be the fastest guy to run those and the offensive players can push off and use their wingspans to create separation.. though he got called on a trash *** offensive PI call where he barely pushed and FSUs 6’5 guy pushed Brown with both hands 5 yards out of the way and no call smh. But yeah, used incorrectly no doubt. As fast as Calvin Johnson was I didn’t recall too many screens to him.. you don’t do that with a 6’5 guy.

If he prefers loser Mike over Mario then I don’t know man. He’ll be on a losing team for 3 years before going to the draft

Thats what am saying, Francis and Pancake. It wore off but people forget how hard it was for us to recruit and fix the OL. Like i said its not about 1 player, its getting them everywhere on the field, then build layers.
I'm sure Jeremiah will have a great career - but he's told us 9 ways from Sunday he's not coming here. Losing him is not some sort of barometer...
