I think Mario will get our talent level to a place it hasn't been in forever, but I think his game day coaching costs a game or two every year that eventually holds us back. hopefully he hires a game day manager to an extent to take over that aspect of the game. I do think he gets us to winning 9/10 yearly though

Kirby is a better x and o coach than Mario but it wasn't until Kirby hired monken when they broke through. they always had an elite D overnight w Kirby which is his trademark. they had an okay offense (stellar run game tho w the three headed monster) even w the talent they recruited. Kirby will attract elite D talent due to him being an elite DC. Mario will do the same on the OL but elsewhere, we'll see. I think it's change in terms of CFB success tho. the talent is very spread out and there is more parity due to NIL and portal. you need a great play caller even if you have elite talent (look at bama w a five star QB on their roster and an obvious handicap with their OC). if youre elite on one side of the ball (the entire side and not a position group like UGA overnight), then youre always in contention. his down year was 8 wins. he was in the title game in year 2. played in two more after that and I believe nearly every playoff thats happened since hes been the HC. Kirby and UGA aren't apples to apples imo. id look at more Ed O and LSU (dumb **** *** coach who is a good position coach but got elite play calling from his assistants who turned and developed Burrow from an undrafted average QB to an elite one). their offense was better than anything Les Miles put out there.

I do see this build and similarities. Great run game good OL pretty good defense (not better than when he got to UGA I think they had more studs). And searching for the lead qb after TVD leaves. I see the plan he just has to get it done and after that get over the hump.
Do u think south Florida kids remotely care about other area recruits let alone a kid from.backwoods ga, the first time they likely heard of him was when they heard we got a new committ from one of the staffers
Yup surprising I thought he would look more explosive. He’s still good though but JS a different breed. Also this ain’t HS college is a whole different beast
Possibly, maybe, not sure. You could be right with how fast it went down and how it wasn’t on the radar for awhile. You guys know South Florida players way better than I do. You give good intel in that area as well so don’t mind your opinion on things.
