I wonder if Jeff Thomas will reschedule his visit to Louisville? Or what if he cancels the Tennessee visit, pushes Miami visit back to the last weekend and then visits Louisville this upcoming weekend instead of miami?

I would love for him to push Lou/Miami visits back, and kick out Tenn. More likely scenario though, is that he makes Tenn or Lou a mid week visit. I'd be ****ed if we end up being pushed into a mid-week visit though.

I think Tennessee is screwed.

That's the state motto. Has been since I moved here in 2010.

I've been to your area once... You're understating things.

It's a beautiful area if you remove the people

I think it'd be either Tenn/Louisville that get a mid-week from him giving proximity. The longest drive of the two would be Knoxville which would be 7 hours, and that's similar to driving from the Keys to Orlando. I think we're good.

He wouldn't be driving to either place even on a midweek visit. Pouncey flew down from Orlando.

Supposedly didn't make his trip to Louisville.

Weather was bad

Maybe our coaches know something when they tweet pics of the beach, water and 80 degree weather in January

When I've searched twitter (pray for me) the only things I can find about Thomas making or not making the trip are from Canes fans. Dead air from the Lou side.

I found 1 comment on a Loserville board where they were saying it was bad weather that was keeping him away and a poster said "the roads are and have been fine. I work in ESTL. Was driving 60 mph on Missouri ave this morning. Repeat..there has been no ice on the roads. East st louis was not and is not iced in."

Hmmmm????

I can back that up. Live 15 minutes from east stl and the road crews did a great job of salting the roads. Travel was near normal. Still not good to travel in an ice storm though...

If he's as much of a lean to Miami as he presently seems to be, then we have to get the visit next weekend and UL/UT can fuss over the 27th.

This.

Thomas isn't canceling Miami. Even if he pushed us back to the 27th, that wouldn't be a bad thing to get him here with N'kosi at the same time

Peep Thomas last few follows, kind of stalker ish but twitter follows most of the time says a lot. And Thomas also is following richt, dugans, dj Johnson, ahmmon ,Baez too IMG_0320.webp just trying to help canes fans on here out

Really hope they have Ahmonn be his host on the OV. You have to like our chances if those two hit it off

What's with all this talk about the slick roads cancelling Thomas's trip to Louisville? He wasn't driving there. Did they cancel all the flights to Louisville because it was 42 degrees there? Pfffft.

313 dude... You know ice can do that to an airport but that was the point I was making from the Loserville board... The ice was all cleared up...he should've been able to get on the plane. Maybe he chose not to???

A ton of flights were cancelled at Lambert Airport on Friday and Saturday morning due to the ice storm. Yes the ice melted and travel conditions greatly improved Saturday but that may have been enough to cancel his travel plans.

I know more about ice than a polar bear. Was the airport closed? If it wasn't then Thomas just didn't feel like going there.
