JC JACKSON!

Look at the depth chart at USCe. All the CBs in the 2 deep are returning and 3 are upperclassmen. If Rumph can't close a guaranteed start at the U from day 1 then he's got more to prove than any coach on the staff 10 fold. Jackson would immediately be the no.1 cb on the team.

The kid is good but come on now "the no.1 CB on the team"? GTFOH!!! If that is true then we seriously have issues at CB. I would give him a shot at the no.2 CB on the team.

I think you guys really underestimate game experience.
Not to mention Corn is a stud

My point exactly CaneTime01.... How the fug they just skip over Corn like that??? If it did turn out that way then immediately I would be questioning coaching because I'm expecting Corn to be much better considering his game experience and improved coaching by this staff.

Um...we do have serious issues at CB. That's not debatable. We only have 6 on the roster -- half of whom were Golden specials -- and we missed on every single blue-chip CB target over the last 3 years on the recruiting trail (including Jackson).

Elder aside, Jackson is head and shoulders above the rest of our current CB group from a pure talent standpoint.

Corn Elder's very good. He's also a senior. If you don't look at the rest of our CB group and admit we're f***** at that position for the foreseeable future, then holy s***.

Actually our issues at CB is from a depth perspective. Even though we missed on the so called "blue-chip CB" during recruiting that sh** goes out the window after a full season in your program and season of football under your freshmen belt. With that said, I think that you are missing our point here which is if this guy comes in and beats out your no.1 CB who is a proven stud, then your coaching sucks and your program sucks! Keep in mind that this guy hasn't played a down let alone fully completed a training program.

Don't get it twisted pure talent only goes so far.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Corn is is the ONLY cb on the roster with any real game experience and he's really a nickel...meaning a no.3!!! JC has more experience and talent than any cb on the roster. It's a fact, not opinion, he's a better #1 cb than anyone on ums roster. Redwine played sparingly and proved nothing, and nobody else played squat minutes. Get your blinders off.
I'm tired of saying next year is our year ala jammi German. Let's get this stud in now. Just take a look at FSU, Clemson wr cores and tell yourself we don't NEED DESPERATELY JC to win the ACC.

if you think Redwine is better than Jackson pls get ****ed.

If you think Ryans Mayes is better than Jackson please kill yourself.

Don't forget Redwine. Lots of the uninformed on the board here are sleeping on him. Watch he will be an all ACC type player for us this year.

You BIG DUMMY - Pay attention to the argument. No one said that we didn't need him! And secondly, take your fugg'n blinders off! By your own admission, you listed at least two players with actual game experience and others that have played "sparingly" so mathematically JC does not have more experience than all of the CB on our roster.

Now if you would take your finger off the panic button and really think about this for a minute. You would see that you have a good group of CB that are returning with solid experience. Not to mention the coaches have evaluated these players and are confident that they can play at this level and continue to be developed into players that this team can win with.

Also, we will be running a different defensive scheme that will allow us to play better coverage's that benefit our DB's. So when you put this into perspective, the DB's that you thought sucked under the old system should be better player under the new system. So in actuality both me and the staff believe that our issues is more about depth than it is about players.

***** what? We have corn who is better suited for nickel and Redwine who played sparingly. And I'm not sleeping on Redwine I see he physical as **** and I hope he takes the next step. But UM THEMSELVES ARE ADMITTING THEY NEED HELP AND ARENT SATISFIED SINCE THEY ARE GOING AFTER JC SO HARD YOU DUMB ***.

Lol I can't wait to bump this thread when Ryan Mayes shows you idiots just how terrible he is.

GrozDozer - Idiot, any team with depth issues are always looking to add more talent at the position. This means that they will always be looking to increase the numbers at that position. Dummy!

Yeah sure Cubana. One month ban bet that if JC Jackson comes here he starts first game?

If anyone here actually thinks Mayes is UM caliber just stop rooting for this team now. RIGHT NOW. He's an Al Golden special.

GrozDozer - My bet would be that he will not be the no.1 CB... And I will take the one month ban bet if you would do the same... Now lock that in!
