Jayden Wayne Film Review: 5 star West Coast DE commits

It’s these idiots jobs to fight for rankings…. Why even factor in ON3 right now when all their doing is hyping up usual schools prospects and lowering everyone else to boost their memberships

It’s a business but call the spade a spade and admit that y’all tip the favor for schools with more subs to keep them happy and high fiving… I hope this keeps a fire under Wayne’s azzz because all he did was commit to his school of choice and promptly took a dip
Instead of pu$$ying out and shifting the responsibility to powers beyond, 247 needs to be the “Equalizer” and reflect the truth in numbers and not regurgitate On3’s assassination of these kids’ achievements. Message to Gabby: Quit pandering to pretenders, set your values and act on them. That is what will get you or preserve your subscribers. I wouldn’t wipe my *** with On3 if it were toilet paper, neither should you.

He’s #36 in the on3 rankings. That’s enough to drop a star? Eh. Whatevs. The commitment high is wearing off, need another hit.

Believe it or not, it does matter to recruits you are targeting. Elite players want to play next to other elite players.

Cedric Baxter, for example, even said he is watching Miami’s class to see who commits. He wants to know the OL he’d be running behind.

You’d be amazed at what matters when recruits and their parents go researching and doing their homework on a school.

It’s hot garbage. And it’s not Gator-esque *****ing.
It's a very fine line from being Gator *****ing. The only difference I see, Gators ***** to win the national recruiting championship, we're *****ing because it affects marketing our class to other recruits.

Yep, we’re really getting addicted to this barrage of high profile commitments! At this rate, I’m beginning to feel sorry for MC if next year he delivers anything less than this offseason…hope we don’t call for his head to roll.

Here's what the "people in charge at 247" posted last night - it did NOT help anything:

Hey guys, full story here on what went on with the ranking for Jayden Wayne today:

247Sports was able to add On3 rankings and ratings to the 247Sports Composte just over a month ago, but like with any new tech it came with its share of bugs. Most have since been cleaned up but a fix for one that unfortunately directly affected this situation is still in the works.

The bug: When a player transfers high schools, naturally all the existing ratings and rankings on his profile transfer along with it to the new institution, but the for some reason the On3 rankings were not transferring like the others. So when Wayne's profile was moved to IMG Academy last month the On3 rankings did not move with the others and it was not noticed at the time. That caused a slight bump up for him in the Composite.

After he committed, the missing rating was noticed by someone on the backend and added back (worst timing ever I know!) and that moved him back to his rightful spot in the Composite at No. 41. Since the Composite five-star range is currently much larger than the five-star range at this point for any of the individual services (37 5-stars in Composite at this time as opposed to four 5-stars for 247Sports, 19 5-stars for Rivals, 10 5-stars for ESPN and 15 5-stars for On3), the bump was enough to have him in that range while it was missing.

It's just a bad look all around and really bad timing I know and our sincerest apologies for that. This was the worst case scenario for this issue to rear its ugly head but the priority for a fix has been moved up to avoid any future similar issues. Again, sorry for the confusion and congrats to The U for adding one of the nation's top players!
