Jayden Wayne Film Review: 5 star West Coast DE commits

Yall need to stop with this why do yall care. You know who cares? The other kids you are after. You think it doesnt matter to Cormani and players like that UF is trying to surround him with compared to the ones he maybe playing with at Bama and Here? It matters to them so it matters. I never really cared about top much until i blatantly saw what they did yesterday.
Show me a kid saying he goes to school A because they have more 5 stars than school B. Its the adults that discuss the rankings more than anyone.

I was specifically talking about people saying they hate Miami then those same people give them attention all day. If its *** em then *** em dont give them attention that helps them

The kids care about. Ask man like @Cribby and @LeedsCane who actually speak with the kids. They care about it. Im not asking.

Best case scenario is that Jayden goes to IMG and wrecks shop…..gets back the 5* by the end of the year
I respectfully disagree.

the BEST case scenario Is that a mysterious alien ship invades our airspace, scoups up all of the ON3 folk for transporting away from 🌎 for anal probing (unless ON3 would enjoy that too much)

.. here's their head ANALyst getting abducted

I’ve come to realize on my short time here that nobody thinks for themselves on here lol they just tag people
I think for myself, i read and i listen to the kid's interviews. I tag people who other people on this board knows in real life who can verify what am saying. The biggest sheep always telling people to thino for themselves, as if any one person knows everything in the world. Jokes. We can leave it there

End of the day it’s whatever. We got a stud player and we’ve all seen the tape and know this. On the other hand, tough to take 247 serious when I’m pretty sure they’ve confessed before that players get bumps when committing to certain schools because of their track records of developing players. If that really is the case, then previous Miami commits definitely deserved the drop in rank due to our previous staff not developing well. With that said, this staff currently has a track record for developing much better so why wouldn’t they get the benefit of the doubt and get that bump up if that’s really what 247 does?

Here's what the "people in charge at 247" posted last night - it did NOT help anything:

Hey guys, full story here on what went on with the ranking for Jayden Wayne today:

247Sports was able to add On3 rankings and ratings to the 247Sports Composte just over a month ago, but like with any new tech it came with its share of bugs. Most have since been cleaned up but a fix for one that unfortunately directly affected this situation is still in the works.

The bug: When a player transfers high schools, naturally all the existing ratings and rankings on his profile transfer along with it to the new institution, but the for some reason the On3 rankings were not transferring like the others. So when Wayne's profile was moved to IMG Academy last month the On3 rankings did not move with the others and it was not noticed at the time. That caused a slight bump up for him in the Composite.

After he committed, the missing rating was noticed by someone on the backend and added back (worst timing ever I know!) and that moved him back to his rightful spot in the Composite at No. 41. Since the Composite five-star range is currently much larger than the five-star range at this point for any of the individual services (37 5-stars in Composite at this time as opposed to four 5-stars for 247Sports, 19 5-stars for Rivals, 10 5-stars for ESPN and 15 5-stars for On3), the bump was enough to have him in that range while it was missing.

It's just a bad look all around and really bad timing I know and our sincerest apologies for that. This was the worst case scenario for this issue to rear its ugly head but the priority for a fix has been moved up to avoid any future similar issues. Again, sorry for the confusion and congrats to The U for adding one of the nation's top players!

LOL. If anyone thinks that changing a single non-unique data point like a kid's HS can suddenly throw the tech off, I don't know what to say. My 2 cents.

This oversight bs is all spin.
Can someone check the graph that tracks the ratings for players and check Jeudy and Brooks.
I’m pretty sure they got a huge bump after they commited to Bama.
I followed Brooks’ recruitment pretty close cause I knew some parents from central.
He was ranked in the 20’s for a while. He got a huge bump after he committed and ended up the number 2 receiver. As a matter of fact, 3 of their receivers ended up in the top 10.
Not saying they don’t deserve their rating. But why do the frontrunner players get bumped after a commitment?
