Jayden Wayne Film Review: 5 star West Coast DE commits

View as article
I hate it For the kids but I’d bet it will light a fire under their asses to prove these people that changed their ranking to be wrong….All these kids have a full season ahead of them to improve their rankings and prove the naysayers wrong. We have a few others especially a couple 3 stars that will be probably be raised also so this is just a temporary glitch in the rankings…

Before we turn into turds who think every recruit they get deserves another star let’s let the season play out and see where we stand in December.Trust me when I say the CFB world knows how good Mario and stapf are recruiting. They don’t need stars to tell them.

It is kinda f*cked up that 247 has changed Wayne ranking right after he committed. Don’t take their ranking as the holy grail or any services at that. If they dropped all of Miami kids to 3 stars would it really matter? It’s basically a good base line of a kid and good water cooler talk.

Complaining about star ranking and 247 team ranking is giving a Gator vibe. Let’s celebrate and enjoy a highly skilled kid committing to the U.

Believe it or not, it does matter to recruits you are targeting. Elite players want to play next to other elite players.

Cedric Baxter, for example, even said he is watching Miami’s class to see who commits. He wants to know the OL he’d be running behind.

You’d be amazed at what matters when recruits and their parents go researching and doing their homework on a school.

It’s hot garbage. And it’s not Gator-esque *****ing.

This not 2002 where a kid has his local paper and national magazines to know who is a elite all around the country. Elite kids all camp with each other, sometimes go to school (IMG) together or play 7 on 7 together . Yes 247 helps give some light on kids but trust me… coaches and recruits know the elite kids no matter if 247 give them 5 star or take away a star.

People can pretend it doesn’t matter, but it actually does. Coaches use this stuff when they’ve got momentum and are pitching to other recruits.
“go check out who you’d be playing with. #3 class in the country” etc.

But they will make sure we don't crack the top 5. F em.
It’s like titles at jobs. I don't care if a company doesn’t use them but if they are going to use them I want the one I’ve earned

This bozo. Convenient that it’s only 1 player that was missing…

I don’t understand this part. He said On3 had him in the 90’s I just looked he’s 36 overall. How would they lover his composite ranking?

Couldn’t care less about him trying to stand up for his employer and acting like “oh we’re all just as upset as you!”

Bull ****. Doesn’t matter at this point but it’s laughable regardless

Don’t think people would be as bothered if it were multiple guys whose scores were off, but uh.. it wasn’t. It was literally only Wayne’s 😂 oh well, dude is still a baller!

David Lake, or maybe the other 247 guy who covers national recruiting, explained that because 5* players are expected to be 1st rounders, they do take the college into account. Since Miami doesn’t put as many first rounders out as other schools nowadays, they might add/drop stars accordingly.
If that’s how they do the rankings, that’s a big piece of horse ****. All these folks need to factor in the kids skills period.

Why is 247 factoring On3 into there composite?

Hahah all this is dumb but agree on the fact that On3 sucks and shouldn’t be factored in composite until they get better.

Shannon is trying to bring over rivals and 247 guys but currently on3 sucks, their ranking suck and their predictions suck.

247 shouldn’t use them as part of their composite.

Other than that, ppl need to stop crying like little girls over a freaking ranking of a kid. It’s really not that deep. Relax, drink a beer, smoke some weed, workout or something that you enjoy but crying in social media is embarrassing. We ALLLLLL know they give better rankings to players who commit to schools that have the most subscribers. It’s always been that way

Nah Rashada was a 4 star early June. Ray ray was never close. And it’s been said 100 times Francis is a 4 star cause they’ve only given out four 5 stars for 247s ranking so far. He didn’t drop
Any idea What score generally puts a player into the 5th star? .985 seems pretty 5*-ish to me, but I have no idea what I’m talking about.

It’s these idiots jobs to fight for rankings…. Why even factor in ON3 right now when all their doing is hyping up usual schools prospects and lowering everyone else to boost their memberships

It’s a business but call the spade a spade and admit that y’all tip the favor for schools with more subs to keep them happy and high fiving… I hope this keeps a fire under Wayne’s azzz because all he did was commit to his school of choice and promptly took a dip
