I liked this kid, but starting a true FR at DT in that conference? Good luck.

Other than Georgia and maybe Bama and Ole Miss it seems most of teams are desperate for DTs. LSU struck out multiple times in the portal, Texas got there third option in the portal. A&M lost Walter Nolan. UF is running out a couple 400 lbs and a Ivy League transfer

This kid is really strong so I don’t see him getting pushed around.

We went after him, but we did not recruit him as hard as we could have, which is fine lol. He committed 6 weeks before Stone, that was the tell where Stone was leaning at the time last year.

Miami did go after him but he wanted to follow his boyfriend Stone to OU.

He almost cried like a baby when he thought Stone was going to leave him hanging and go to UM. There was a clip where Stone threw up the U at IMG and JJ was like, “Ah come on bro, don’t do that man”…lol… He went to OU strictly because he thought Stone would follow him there and not UM imo. Water under the bridge. We got Scott and Blount AND Jones. We made out pretty **** good. F them both.

So you want this guy to take snaps from Scott and griffin if we get him on the 18th?

Depends on if Akeem Mesidor comes back but I think we get 2 transfer DTs. If Mesidor bounces out I believe we lose 5 DTs (Clark, Cook, Campbell and Barrow).
