Newman threw for 2,868yds 26TD's 11INT's at 60.9% with 574yds & 6TD's rushing.

He's a big physical QB at 6'4 230lbs, good runner & a big arm, average accuracy.

Would absolutely take if we hired a Spread OC, he's not necessarily a great QB but he's significantly better than any of the 3 we got & most importantly he has good mobility.

Newman is a far better option than KJ Costello who's a complete statue in the pocket & can't move at all, we need a QB that can run as well as pass.

D'Eriq King should be the top priority for a Grad Transfer QB this offseason, hire the right Spread OC & do everything possible to land King & we might have something cooking for 2020.

If he has to play he has to play and it could easily happen. Probably looking at the end of Manny Diaz and a similar season to Brad Kaaya’s freshman year if it happens.
