Coach-speak can only protect you to a point. While conventional wisdom was that Harris has been a 'pleasant surprise', my eyes told me he was very much up and down. Yeah, you need dependability to say the least from your LAST LINE OF DEFENSE.

*of course, Kiko made the right play getting down after the pic, but with open field ahead, how do you not house that mo-fo?

Not that this justifies anything, but after this play he was on the sideline looking pretty upset (i.e., smashing his helmet on the ground). So kid definitely plays with heart and cares, but obviously needs to execute a lot better.

He had the lowest PFF rating against Va Tech and cheeks this week too. Is he hurt or something? I'm more disappointed on him then anybody else. He's become a weakness

Yes he has been banged up since USF.

Miami has to ramp up Patterson he needs to see his snaps increase the second half of the year .

I’m a broken record with this: this is the worst safety duo of the last ___ years. 0 and 7 are unauthentic, lost, and routinely tackle the turf.

I have no idea how Washington hid 0 to a championship run. He doesn’t know how to cover or tackle. He doesn’t keep the play in front of him. It’s like playing with 10 guys.

Dude has zero clue how to take the proper angle, or which shoulder to attack when approaching a blocker. He should’ve attacked the inside shoulder and fought to make dude have to get the sideline angle.

His coverage skills are non-existent and got dusted to the end zone by a big tight end.

And his position coach is Guidry

Most important position in Guidry’s defense according to him and this is who we have playing. The DB recruiting has been **** for the past few years and we definitely didn’t hit it hard enough in the portal this past offseason. Got Meesh and Hill, and they said “we’re good”. It’s time to take the training wheels off Patterson and let him play more. Brown doesn’t look to be coming back anytime soon and I’m not sure how much he actually makes a difference. I know Richard shouldn’t be playing this much, that’s for sure. Dude is garbage.
