Then your eyes need work.
That or you genuinely have no idea what an average shooter looks like. A 40% 3 point shooter is not average.
By the numbers, he is in the top 15 or so 3pt shooters in the acc, which means on any given acc team, hes either your best or second best shooter.Maybe I just look with NBA eyes, as I watch much more of the league. Shooting is skewed these days, the college line is laughably close. Guys like Jarren Jackson and Wendall Carter are shooting 45% and all I hear is how DJ is this knock-down shooter. Yeah when he's cooking for a 5 minute stretch it's great, but he can disappear for extremely long stretches throughout a game.
Ahhhh, the old "big moment" argument, which is where you go when the facts aren't in your favor.
The fact of the matter is is that in ACC ball, he out shot both Walker and Lykes (who shot 32% from 3 in the ACC).
I understand it's hard to admit that you're a fool, and have consistently made a fool out of yourself over a period of months, but the first step to getting out of a hole is to stop digging.
For sure, if there's one thing ACC coaches don't value, it's shooting ability. The fact is he wouldn't be in most ACC rotations. The fact is I purposely used a hyperbolic title to illicit a response. The fact is he's a mildly overrated nonathletic shooter. I'm done.
I just want you all to ask yourself a question. ACC title game, down 69-67, 5 seconds left. Lykes drives, kicks it out to DJ in the corner... Is it going in?
Im guessing you meant E-licit, but sadly you're I-lliterate
Prisoner of the moment meaning the entire year when he shot 39.7%. Ok buddy. Take a seat.I'm only back because I will not let some of you be prisoners of the moment.
Kid was crucial in getting the W today. But when he starts to feel himself and jacks it from Curry range I laugh out loud. He is a mediocre athlete with a nice stroke but is an overall average shooter and a below average rotation player for the ACC. If he is better than your 7th man you have a problem. I have no vendetta against the kid, just saying what my eyes see. I hope the good times keep rolling, was impressed with his offensive board and put back. Moments like that are few and far between. He shoots us in and our of a lot of games.
Don't understand the down votes if it's true lolHindsight is 20/20. The kid couldnt hit anything when this thread was made.

Because the opposition's view was not that he wasn't missing shots, but that is too early to write him off. All these guys came in saying he was a 35% 3 point shooter at best a mere 5 or 6 games into the season. That is why they deserve scorn.Don't understand the down votes if it's true lol
Can jkh be buried with it?Can we just bury this thread in the annals of history?
As a non-dumbass I can confidently say we don't know. I'd love to see your mental gymnastics on how you can accurately know if he'll make it or not, though.I just want you all to ask yourself a question. ACC title game, down 69-67, 5 seconds left.
