Yeah I really feel it’s a mistake to not make him use his one transfer. This isn’t going to work out at ECU and some other school gets a free pass to bring him in.

The odds of marrying your high school sweetheart and staying with her for the rest of your life are extremely low. Maybe just as low as making to the league if he’s not part of a religion where he and his wife grew up in. And I haven’t seen any wedding pics

That only happens in certain religions.

Not saying he made the wrong decision. But that’s not called betting on yourself.
I would’ve had her loan out UM tuition and bet on himself to take care of it later.

It’s bs that he had to follow her.
There are at least 4 universities she could’ve gone to down here if she couldn’t get in to UM.

He worked all his life to be in this position and he goes to ecu?
There may be more to the situation. But from the outside he definitely didn’t go to ecu cause it was his last and only option to be with his girl.

I think releasing him with no restrictions was the right play. If they had forced him to sit out, Mario & Co may have burned a bridge with Dillard or other coaches in SFL. He wasn’t going to play this year so it opens up a scholarship to go after either a transfer or a high school CB that wants to be developed at UM. Good luck to him and such the current environment of college football, this kid could very well end up at UM anyways.

Seriously dude? That's what you hope for a 16 year old who's never done you wrong? You are quite the guy. The kid is 16. Give him a break. He wasn't ready for what it's going to take to get this U back. He can always come back if he is good enough and he wants to. Right now it seems that he needs to experience life before he can give himself to football completely. Hope it all works out for him. We're on to bigger and better things.
