Which came first, the antics of the players to attract such fans or the antics of the fans to attract such players? Greater Miami Dade is the fan base. Its full of ******s, punks and ghetto turds. Dont act surprised when said fan base acts like **** ballz. It's all about the U baby! We're fuggin soldiers!!!!

I agree with all of this, especially the bolded. Let's ride or die with these players. You don't see me white-knighting for the coaches. They're professionals.

But going after these kids is pathetic. Chad Thomas commented on it. Nigel Bethel tweeted about it. I'm sure Brad Kaaya noticed considering he was right there. It's an embarrassment.
 
just got back from orlando. these ******* coaches is all i have to say. didnt get to hear goldens comments but what r the excuses this time? this team was beyond pathetic tonight. what a waste of money today was. it seems like the team were picking which rides they would go on rather than prepare for lville.

D$ is right. I have heard for many years how awful Miami fans are at games, home and away. It's a joke for anyone to defend fans who act like that. What does yelling at our players do? Support your **** team or go root for someone else. It's pathetic. Get a **** life. We're all ****ed, throwing ****, yelling, drinking our sorrows, whatever.....but acting like douchebag @ss at the game and yelling at kids helps no one. Do you want to be the reason we lose a Kaaya, Bethel, Thomas or someone else? So that we can hear you ***** about things even more then? Get a life. Fans never realize how much damage they can do. I know kids who played college ball and gameday atmosphere and fans did play a big part of not only their recruitment, but how they played. Some people are just too **** stupid to understand this or care.
 
My boy t brooks loved miami and the fans where a big reason he chose fsu over us he's a first team all American just for reference being nasty gets you nowhere
 
Put simply, if you boo the players, you're a ******.

NFL players get paid and are fair game. These are ******* amateur athletes and in many cases teenagers. Don't boo or taunt college kids.

Not defending the behavior at all. But when the admin puts the program on the backburner for ten years, when for 25 years we were the titsss, and the program falls apart and it's deja vu all over again, people lose their heads. I'm not saying it's right. I'm saying its goddam time for this school to care about the ******* program again and start investing in it, and this type of behavior won't happen.

A small stadium with a great product prices most dimwits and ghetto turds out of said product. When anyone and everyone is buying low prices and Miami-Dade county is your fan base, and your left begging for all fans...well......

It has struck me, maybe around the time they adopted the 'U', which had been the logo for athletics only, as their school logo, slightly after the time I attended, and possible a dozen or so years after they should've made a significant investment in he program's future...or maybe it was realizing that, being in the ACC, it benefited athletics to a greater extent that the school was willing to pay back to the football team by such actions as moving us to SunLife without option...but yeah, there's serious inequity going on.

Al Golden will never win a big game here. NEVER. Our fanbase is so deluded and dumbed down it's hysterical. Al Golden is a fraud. A total and complete fraud. He is internally what Joe Paterno was superficially.
 
DMoney no doubt that we an amazingly angry and unclassy fanbase. And I truly believe that some or many of these fans get it from message boards like these where calling the players names is allowed and really even encouraged by fellow posters. I think that to a great extent it spills over to the games. I think the site should moderate the boards much more closely and delete personal ridiculing references to the players and coaches. Criticize, fine, but not personal and ugly. Set the tone here D$ and convey to the fanbase that the crap won't be tolerated here anymore and maybe the carryover behavior in the stands will start to get cleaned up.
