Interesting comment by Titans

its very interesting- the NFL talking heads don't think Cam would be the first pick of qbs in this years class relative to last years class- might be 5th QB off if it was combined (which I think is laughable but whatever) and do think Travis is a unicorn,so that language at least in many NFL circles might make people think Travis Hunter.

Could be trying to generate trade interest to jump down but still get cam.

No chance it's Hunter. The Titans signed Chidobe Awuzie, traded for L'Jarius Sneed, and drafted Jarvis Brownlee. All three are talented CB and have guaranteed money invested in them.

Man I have a friend that thinks travis could be an All Pro corner in three years. He doesn't realize the guys that are all pro are young and only getting better. He is a better receiver imo. I'm not sure he can be an All Pro at receiver in the near future.

I personally dont disagree but almost all the NFL talking heads and scout guys think it is Hunter they have to be referring to - they don't consider Cam generational.

Travis Hunter is NOT a generational talent.
You got to remember for this generation he's a generational talent. Because people don't understand the value of words anymore. Everyone assumes he's going to do the same things in the NFL that he did in college. Personally I'd say in college He's a far better receiver than he was a DB he had moments at DB that were great. That were amazing even. He also had plenty of moments he was getting toasted that no one would talk about. However in the NFL he is not playing offense. He's a little dude that won't be able to stand up being a wide receiver worthy of being drafted that early in the draft Yes obviously there's plenty of small wide receivers that play in the NFL however those dudes other than maybe devonte who Travis Hunter is no version of devonte as a receiver are drafted early like that. So he's going to be playing defensive back in the NFL with the occasional package where he's thrown in on offense.

Ideal outcome is absolutely Titans picking Hunter, Giants picking Shadeur, and Raiders somehow getting Cam Ward.
Please let it happen. Raiders gotta trade up to 2 or 3. I just don't know about Browns. I think this year is 1 yr too early for them to draft QB, but Idk... Its probably in their interest to trade down to 6 with Raiders, pickup a 1st next year and then move on from Watson next season and use thier two 1sts to guarantee the top QB....

Even when you have the #1 pick, it’s poor business practice to let everyone know who you’re picking. Maybe by claiming a nameless player is “generational” they can convince one of the loser franchises with a top pick to trade everything just to move up one or two spots. The Titans are by far the best franchise with an early draft pick. Most of the teams in the top 7 are places where quarterbacks go to die. If Cam goes to Cleveland, New York or Las Vegas, his career is over before it starts. New England is iffy because outside of 20 years of Tom Brady, they’re essentially the Jaguars. Tennessee has generally been a good franchise for a while. Their big mistake was not taking the quarterback position seriously enough and trying to win games like it’s 1983.
