Also if he played anywhere other than ColoradoI swear if Travis was a Cane doing the same thing he did at Colorado, the conversations here would be completely different

Indeed. Business as usual. Levis vs Fields, Titans vs. Bears.I remember last year when Chicago pretended for a while they might keep Fields or trade the pick.
I remember when their was significant pre-draft buzz that Will Levis could be drafted in the 1st round.I remember last year when Chicago pretended for a while they might keep Fields or trade the pick.
I can't think of any good reason why a QB who set single season records at a place known as QB U and also set an NCAA record would be considered "generational."So, other than the fact that Cam played at Miami, what makes him “generational?” Other than the fact that he’s a QB, why should he go number 1?
End of discussion. Now, if he were to focus on just one, he might be slightly better at the one position. Still, not a generational talent at either, even with increased focus.Exactly. In the NFL he's not going to be able to play both ways very much, and that is the only thing in college that could be said to make him "generational". But he is not the best WR, nor is he the best CB, in the draft.
Unless you are Jerry Joney .I remember when their was significant pre-draft buzz that Will Levis could be drafted in the 1st round.
It's apart of the process; GM's are all looking to get over on one another & get each other to show their hands...
ANYTHING being said by a GM or any front office personnel or Coach, in the months between January - April is nothing more than a bluff.
The NFL draft is a poker game.
