In Fairness to Al Golden, Some Perspective....

Petrino would've won 11 games here last year and likely would've lost to FSU by 7/10 pts tops. We'd prolly score about eleventy billion points per game. IMHO Petrino wouldn't go anywhere if he came here. He's a different guy now.

Exactly. If Petrino was lucky enough to land a prime gig like UM he'd never think of leaving. He already showed the NFL isn't for him, and he could win NCs at UM just like he could at any other marquee program.

Love the fact you said NC's as in multiple. Totally agree there.

You were on a roll with your first couple of posts, but any of us can post statements that are totally unprovable. I could tell you that if Petrino were here, the defensive players would have been just as terrible. Probably even worse.

Mad,

True but I argue that Petrino would outscore people, listen the defense can't be any worse than it was this year so we needed a better offense. Petrino would at least give you that.

I agree on the success (not sure if we could win 11 games this season). I also think he will be at WKU for one more season because of the stupid BS associated with what happened. He is a gem that is available and the question is who will scoop him up first.

If Jimbo goes to UT, I could see FSU interested but not giving him the job.
