You’re creating a pace off a 4 game sample size. Not the greatest idea. Let’s revisit his stats at year end, ok?What he's doing is impossible.
The last RB to win the heisman was Derrick Henry. In 15 games he had:
395 att - 2,219 yds - 28 TD
Jeanty's 15 game pace is:
308 att - 3,168 yds - 49 TD's
They played Clemson, Kentucky, and Bama...Is that the thUGA “G” on that attachment? I didn’t expect to see that there.
Oh not big bad UGAIt could be worse! View attachment 305579
You are a fellow canes fan so I’m going to assume you are a fan of football and you have watched every snap of every one of our games this year.I read what you wrote. You have an implied comparison that out stats absent garbage time are abysmal. So, you took out Ga. Abyssmal compared to who with their garbage time time removed?
We are a pass first team with alignment to pass.
I’m aware of their schedule, Im just surprised to see their logo on the graphic because they are a dominant type program that puts value in having a strong running game. They played Clemson, Kentucky, and Bama...
Which is why I said what Jeanty is doing is impossible. You’re creating a pace off a 4 game sample size. Not the greatest idea. Let’s revisit his stats at year end, ok?
Agree, not worth havingYou are a fellow canes fan so I’m going to assume you are a fan of football and you have watched every snap of every one of our games this year.
If you can honestly look at our body of work in the running game and believe it is anything but abysmal, then this conversation isn’t worth having. Theres a reason Cam has to convert so many third and longs and there’s a reason a ton of people on here are questioning the run game.
I love Navy lmaoThe run game is bad

And it's not just the backs or the blocking. It's both.
Put it this way...FSU is getting more yards before contact AND their backs are averaging more yards after contact. With that garbage offense. The gator offense has been significantly better than ours at generating yards before contact. Looks where all the elite offenses are. Bama, Taint, Tennessee isn't elite at space but their backs are eating, Ole Miss, Oregon, Clemson etc. All much more efficient. It's hard to tell exactly but how many teams have been worse at creating yards before contact? 10?
And there are people on this thread trying to say our run game has been perfectly okThe run game is bad

That doesn’t sound the way you think it might.Georgia has played 4 games we have played 5.
Also, not related to Georgia per se, but if you take away our garbage time running yards, our stats are abysmal.
And there are people on this thread trying to say our run game has been perfectly oktalk about kool aid
**** that gets said on this board is next level stupidJust a bunch of teams with tight OL splits
Oregon is the #37 run defense. Jeanty put up 192 & 3TD's. In Oregon's 3 other games combined they've given up 227 & 3 TD's.Look at the other half of Boise State's offensive production. It is, well, offensive.
Usually teams that have an RB do what he's doing suck at passing and Boise is no different. Vice versa with teams that put up video game numbers passing. Let us also not forget that Boise isn't exactly playing an $EC schedule either, although he did play well against Oregon, who's not a bad defensive team but also not real good.
