If you think the run game is bad..

Frazier had two carries late vs Clemson(about 6 minutes left to put them up 34-3) for about 55-60 yards....so he is at like 18 for 70-75 and 1 TD

Etienne has 1x45 yard carry vs Tn Tech. So take that out and he has 35 for about 165 and 1 TD

Overall not impressive totals for a team that many consider the gold standard of OL's, toughness, and elite talent.
not saying I'm impressed, but as others have stated, Georgia doesn't have as good of a team as in the past.
I mean Colbie walked into a starting receiver position

The run game is bad

And it's not just the backs or the blocking. It's both.

Put it this way...FSU is getting more yards before contact AND their backs are averaging more yards after contact. With that garbage offense. The gator offense has been significantly better than ours at generating yards before contact. Looks where all the elite offenses are. Bama, Taint, Tennessee isn't elite at space but their backs are eating, Ole Miss, Oregon, Clemson etc. All much more efficient. It's hard to tell exactly but how many teams have been worse at creating yards before contact? 10?

I share concerns and criticism regarding our running game. That said, our base needs to accept that we will live and die with the pass.

You can't subtract one teams garbage yards and not the other when making a comparison
Re-read what I wrote. With respect to garbage time yards, I said 'not related to Georgia'

Georgia has played 1 less game. Independent of that fact, if you remove our garbage time yards, our run game has sucked. That is a stand-alone statement and has nothing to do with removing another teams yards. Reading comprehension is important.

Yeah I put that in there they already had a bye.

But you cant play the "take away the garbage runs" game because if that is the case wipe out 1/2 of UGA's yards because 170 of those yards came against Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles lol Every team at this time has played some gargabe teams. UGA also blew out Clemson by 30 and had some garbage runs. They were in dog fights with Kentucky and Bama were behind so much needed to pass.
Like i just mentioned to someone else, I specifically removed the comparison to Georgia when I stated our run game has sucked without garbage time yards.

For whatever reason they just are not running much. 517 total yards rushing this year, only 2 playes have over 100 total.

Etienne 36 carries for 212 yards (5.9 avg)
Frazier 20 caries for 113 yards (5.7 avg)

After that Beck is the next highest rusher with 64 yards and it gets smaller after that.

For comparison Miami has 2 backs over 200 (lyle and Martinez) and 3 over 100 (Ward, Allen, Fletcher) for a total of 965 Miami has a total of 163 carries, UGA only 107. 60 less carries through the season is a lot but I also think UGA already had one bye and pretty sure they get two byes this year.
They were talking before the season that running the ball would be a weakness was for UGA. It's playing out as planned.

I read what you wrote. You have an implied comparison that out stats absent garbage time are abysmal. So, you took out Ga. Abyssmal compared to who with their garbage time time removed?

We are a pass first team with alignment to pass.

Jeanty has run for 845 yds in 4 games
Miami RB's have run for 808 yds in 5 games

Jeanty is averging 210 yds & 3 TD's per game.

What he's doing is insane.
Look at the other half of Boise State's offensive production. It is, well, offensive.

Usually teams that have an RB do what he's doing suck at passing and Boise is no different. Vice versa with teams that put up video game numbers passing. Let us also not forget that Boise isn't exactly playing an $EC schedule either, although he did play well against Oregon, who's not a bad defensive team but also not real good.
