I Don't Know About This Fisch Dude

Our OLine wasn't consistent in pass blocking worth a ****. Our OLine wasn't consistent in run blocking as each play, two or more linemen were taking the play off.

Jacory ran hot and cold, and while he had good overall stats, he could barely put together a drive behind a crappy, weak line, and seemed like every third pass downfield, it was either intercepted or dropped by the opposing team.

Our Tight Ends sucked.

Our RB's can't run through a 300 pound defensive lineman, which is what they were frequently asked to do.

Let's see. Line sucks, QB hot and cold, can't throw long, and isn't consistent. Tight ends sucked. WR's fair. RB's with either turf toe or injured shoulder, and STILL had to run where there were few cracks of daylight, much less a well-blocked running lane.

And to make it even sweeter, the cheerleader squad had more stamina and strength.

I shake my head with what we had to work with last year in disbelief.

I'm sure Fisch had his head-shaking moments too, but had to throttle everything back, shorten everything, simplify everything, and pray for a break now and then.

We didn't make great plays last year - the other teams made mistakes we took advantage of.

is this convo really happening?

have we forgotten what Jacory and the offense looked like before Fisch got here?

the turnover category alone is enough to give me plenty of hope for Fisch's philosophies while here. chill out guys, we'll be alright.

Don't misunderstand what I said. I think considering the tools with which he had to work, that Fisch did a great job. As did Coach D.

A lot of things can change in a year. I'm convinced they have changed at the U.

Finally, somebody agrees with me! I've been saying this for years, and have been crushed for it. Nobody's saying full time spread, but to not incorporate elements of it, with all the athletes SF has year in and year out, is just plain stupid. Its about being progressive, and the college game has been moving in that direction FOR YEARS.

Its my belief we've lost out on some nice offensive recruits in recent years, because these kids want to play in an offense that showcases their speed, athleticism and open field abilities.

I'm just gald to have confirmation that im not the only one who's been thinking about this...........4or years.

what go back and forth over the last few years....it was a dumpster fire...lets move forward.

what they ran was what they could run. please the previous disaster had players that couldn't remember plays from the huddle to the line of scrimmage.. we couldn't mix in spread if we wanted to. they didn't put in the time and it showed. now we have a coach that is holding people accountable and is requiring they put the work in and if they don't they sit. pretty easy philosophy

now lets see that transpire and a old school work ethic be revived her at Miami!

Couple of you dudes talking **** now had no clue what the **** you were talking about back then either.
