Can you blame him? While I agree that we should be self-imposing a bowl, we should have done it at the beginning of the year. This was managed very poorly.

You can't ban a bowl game if you haven't made it to one yet that's why they didn't do it at the beginning of the season

Ive seen a few posters say that you could self impose before your bowl eligible but i have yet to see any of them post a credible piece of info. THere is a reason why 2 seasons in a row we waited till we were bowl eligible to self impose?

There is a factual case in Texas Tech in 97 where they self-imposed prior to becoming eligible. It can absolutely be done...it also should've been done.

have a question? if we did self impose before the season began would u have agreed w it like u r now or would u have been upset that we didnt wait longer to see what comes out from the NCAA?
