Hopefully this was Allen Hurns' dad going "rogue" and not the attitude of his son, and other players, or we're going to have a repeat of BC last year.
 
FWIW, how are we sure that these guys are really the player's parents?

I could call in and say I"m so and so's dad as well, how would they know the difference?
 
His dad is more ****ed that Waters has passed him on the depth chart. Hurns is an average WR.

Well, if Hurns was truly upset that Waters was getting his playing time, as someone reported, and then this, well, I'm not sure I like where this is headed.

Problem is our AD said this doesnt mean we wont impose a THIRD bowl ban next year either. I think that is the main part handled wrong, I dont know if our acting AD wasnt prepared for the question but that leaves alot, ALOT of room for interpretation. I think the university should have said they would not impose a third when they came out with this. They should have used this as a platform for standing up for itself. Right now its like we have no spine and do whatever the will of NCAA and we can still end up getting screwed.

That open doors for major negative recruiting and it leaves the juniors to think why even play next year because no one will give them a straight answer. Golden wont say sh*t, AD already said he wont deny that we can impose a third, Manny from the herald is already throwing the question at Stephen Morris. I can understand why a guy like Hurns father is mad because his son is basically a junior and up in limbo

This response has nothing specifically to do with Hurns...but, where have you been in the past decade? Do you realize what kind of players this program has had in it over the past decade? If you did, you wouldn't say such a thing.

You can't ban a bowl game if you haven't made it to one yet that's why they didn't do it at the beginning of the season

Idiots. They're a couple steps away from hosting "****ed Off Parents" from 1-2 every day, an entire hour dedicated to Miami Hurricanes players' parents coming on and airing their grievances on a public forum. Jerk off a bum this is ridiculous.

I disagree. We have been monitoring the situation with the NCAA all along. You wait as long as possible to get as much info as possible about your possible sanctions.

THIS if we got the NOA already we could have made a better informed decision on what to do. 95% of the time a NOA would have been received by this time how was the administration suppose to know that we were going to be the exception to the rule. (ps i know i know we are the U we should have know LOL)

either way it was the right move

That'd be true if you were always a worthless poster with no [future] potential to contribute substance. I anticipate the Hurricane football program will make a run back at relevancy. Maybe you will follow its trajectory.
 
Am I the only one who only cares about 1-2 bowls other than the BCS bowls??? I mean, seriously.......who cares that we aren't going to the Music City bowl, or the Sun Bowl, or the Micron PC bowl or whatever. WHo remembers what bowl game Kansas State played in last year or OSU or Vanderbilt or Georgia Tech?

i disagree by the way and for the record

I will not be dating super models millionaires for next 3 months with fake **** to penalize myself for all the trolling I have done in the LOUNGE/WEZ the last 3 years ...will you guys accept my self-imposed punishments??
