Just called in on Sedano's show with Crowder and Portis and ripped Miami for self imposing

Can you blame him? While I agree that we should be self-imposing a bowl, we should have done it at the beginning of the year. This was managed very poorly.

Embarrassing, how bout a bit of discretion? These dads have become "pageant moms".

Yes call golden or admin rip them. Punk move IMO. All about me me me. Maybe I could see if he was a senior. These Mia parents are the biggest chicken littles I think I've ever seen.
Hope waters puts his son on the bench

His son just went out onto the football field with a real injury with the risk of further injury, and played because he had something to play for...and it was for nothing.

I'd be pretty ****ed. And, if it was your son, you'd be, too.

When I saw "dad" I was worried it would be another radio thing, my god, why do they have to make it public, I mean I understand the frustration but like some of you said just call golden or someone from the university

You make a good point. However, handling it in that way makes no sense whatsoever.

So you think players play for future goals alone, you've never played did you? When the ball kicks off you think of nothing but beating the guy in front of you, not the fans, not the stadium, not your girlfriend, not your parents...

No I would not ,have 2 sons who are athletes. How about play for pride ,for yourself, for the game. If the injury can hurt you worse, than asses the risk and make a decision and live with it. Besides keep it in house , don't go punk move on radio.

Disagree. His son played for his teammates, for himself, for his family and because apparently he's a badass, and good for him as that won't be lost in anyone's mind.

Yes I can blame him. There is a time and a place and radio is not it. This is getting absurd with the players' parents. It's not high school, it's college.

Yes Allen Hurns is the only one out there that made a sacrifice during the season who is mad about the decision!

I'm sure everyone else is just upset, but they don't go out and make it public to make it an even story. Just ******* dumb.

He played because he is a football player and it is what he loves to do. Why do you think the greatest punishment these guys fear is to have playing time taken away? These guys know that they have a limited amount of time in their lives to do the thing they love more than anything. That's why he played.

What's he so mad about? Hurns is a JR. He still has another year of eligibility and next year, we have the chance to actually be special. Hurns could be the premiere WR of a REAL BCS team, not the joke we are this year.

I disagree. We have been monitoring the situation with the NCAA all along. You wait as long as possible to get as much info as possible about your possible sanctions.
