How many elite players are really on this team?

So than let me ask this, is it the scheme defensively that's the issue? or the coaching?
Yesterday was the perfect example of not just bad coaching, but horrid, incompetent coaching. When people refer to scheme they refer more to philosophy, and Golden's philosophy is soft as ****.
Strong literally jizzed all over Golden and nothing was done about it. Strong wanted to make a statement to South Florida recruits and did. Golden was just happy to be there for himself and the seniors and couldnt get himself out of magic kingdom mode. I've never in all my years of watching football seen a softer coach than Al golden

lol @ OP. Kid, hopefully when Golden gets fired a bunch of our other players go to the NFL and have successful careers, you won't make this post the next time we hire a ****** coach.

I'm well aware that coaching plays a big part in player development and how well these kids do, but the reality is I just don't think this team is as good as advertised.

When AJ Highsmith and Kacy Rodgers are still prominent players in your secondary, you lack talented depth. Golden and co. have had 3 years to deal with those two and obviously there seems to be little progression made, but the reality is that those guys are just not that good.

I'm in no way making an excuse for Coach Golden, there are a lot of question marks and guys he's brought in that have still not developed, but look at the entire body of work before focusing the entire blame on one particular aspect. I think it's a combination of both things: Poor coaching on some ends and poor players

Spot on.

id say deon bush, erik flowers, burns, muhammad, and mccord

Did you watch Burns? Homie was in roller skates tonight!

Now we did watch Tracy struggle bad his Freshman year and this year he basically put people on his island, so if Burns makes that same jump, out secondary will be one of the best in the country!

Now that may not mean much because it doesn't matter how good you are back there, if a QB has all day to throw, someone will get open!

College football is a game that is won with dominant lines, both offense and defense, I've learned that from Alabama's and the SEC dominance!

To the OP, someone asked this on the recruiting board so I'm going to ask it here. How many elite kids do you think we currently have committed?
