How do we get Bud Foster?

Would love to have him as our D coordinator? This guy is one of the best in the business. Always has a consistent top D and gets his players in positions to MAKE plays. He attacks and plays aggressive. This is what we are really lacking. I know a lot of it is the personnel but you can't tell me over the past 15 years Va Tech has had better athletes.

Get him and we win a title sooner than later.

Foster is an animal. A master of his craft. A true artist at the top of his game.

Sadly, I believe he's hanging around and set to take over for that old sack of bones when he retires soon.

My ugh wasn't a knock on Foster. Foster is great.

I was ughing because people fail to realize D'Onofrio is here for the long haul. And even if he left we'd still run his scheme because it's Al's scheme.

Al will at least wait until we have a legit D line til he makes a decision on coach D. That us our biggest hole and it's not even close. Ohh yea, and our ******* dirt leg kicker! I would bench Goudis and have O'Donnel take over all kicking duties. Bosher did it.

Al will not fire his best friend. I would be willing to bet a lot of money on that.

he can't fire him for running the defense he wants to run.. that would be ridiculous..

Bud Foster has been the best DC in the game for a decade now.


I agree that he's holding out for the head spot at Va Tech. Personally, I hope he gets it. In the new world order of college football we will need 3-4 very strong teams in the ACC. Va Tech is the type of place that will struggle to find a good coach. Beamer is the exception IMO.

I wish discussions about the defense could at least start with this caveat.
 
Once the defensive roster has the depth this scheme is going to be a nightmare for opposing offenses. Amazing how the agenda driven village idiots come out of the woodwork after a loss.

Bud Foster doesn't have a god**** thing over Coach D.
