From what I heard in the streets, we briefly tried but found out what Louisville paid and backed off. That's when we went after CWH instead.
He’d be the 6th best back on our roster…maybe
Not in our scheme. He'd be 2 yards and a cloud of dust running into Cooper and Carpenter all game.Nah, after tonight, he would be no worst then 3rd but honestly, he would be our best back. Kid is explosive it is what it is but dude is elite

That's actually a good point. I like to figure his talent would fit in any scheme but you're probably right on this one
He's not a miss. We signed Lyles and Hellcat. I hate when fans do this.
We are loaded at RB and Louisville is not. Players see the field early at programs that don't have depth. If Lyles, Hellcat, or CJ were at Louisville, they'd be balling out as well. This is the dilemma for high school recruits. Go to top programs and wait your turn or go to a mid tier program and play early.
Also, Brown is a smaller back. Mario likes the power backs, which I wouldn't be surprised if CJ transfers. CJ would shine in an offense that stresses speed over power. I wish he'd get more playing time and touches.
We have the #1 offense in the country, can y'all just be happy?
And Martinez is a first down machine. We have the #1 offense in the country, can y'all just be happy?
Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if he’s wearing O&G next seasonWe can be happy with the offense, the running game, our running backs (I am) and still call a spade a spade. Kid is special, defenses hold their breathe anytime he's in space. We don't have that.

Exactly. The same thing happens in the NFL. It's about the right scheme fit. Getting the most out of what your guy does best.Look at B. Smith. Swiss Army knife and terrific weapon. Can line up as a WR, RB, whatever. Creates impossible mismatch, especially if they go no huddle and he splits out wide, defense can’t sub and they have to put a LB on him. Zero chance he’d have ever been used like that here. Just not how Dawson would use him.
Why you want Ajay to stay? He didnt even touch the rock today I dont think? lol.. So he can just rot just in case? Dude should see what Brashard is doing and go find a good spot where he can actually play college ball and tote the rock while he still has time. Kid is talented enough not to be on sidelines 99% of seasonI'm pretty happy on who we have. I'm good with Fletcher and Lyle as our 1-2 punch next season. Hopefully Ajay stays. But still you hate to lose a local kid who is elite to somebody else. I take this as a fun conversation to have. Am I pi$$ed....no but I have no problem if some of our fans are

I hate to say it, but I wouldn't come to Miami if your a speed back. Mario doesn't value them as a feature back. He's about smash mouth football with big physical backs.
Yup he’s another brashard smith… he’s tearing it up at SMU now that he’s not trying to pretend to be a wr anymore. That's actually a good point. I like to figure his talent would fit in any scheme but you're probably right on this one

I just calling like I see it. AJ barely gets any touches. He could start on many other teams. I expect him gone next year.I'm hoping Pringle proves you wrong. Kid looks really good, we'll see but as of now ur correct
