Brent Pry is terrible. Virginia also made an awful hire in Tony Elliott in the same off-season.

I can't see Pry making it past this year. They're going to have to pivot to someone that can recruit the DMV, someone that is going to build a culture and stay there forever, or a hot name coordinator that's likely going to use them as a stepping stone but gives them a schematic advantage.

Personally, if I had to give them a list of guys it would probably be
1. Ryan Grubb (schematic advantage and he can build an OL)
2. Glenn Schumann (schematic advantage and a good recruiter - likely brings Fran Brown as DC and he would be an elite DMV recruiter)
3. Dan Mullen (would stay long term and do what he did at Miss State, elite schematic advantage)
4. Jamey Chadwell (could be another VT lifer. Cultural fit. Good scheme)
5. Alex Atkins (good DMV recruiter, can solidify their OL)

Honorable mention: Curt Cignetti and Willie Fritz - both may be too old to take that job from where it is now and build it.
