While I am aware of the history and unfair treatment of other people of color I am VERY aware of what happened to my people. Mike, don't waste your time with dopey mooks who assume most everyone who ridicules a 16-20 coach is doing so because they're racist. Last time I checked, Butch Davis is white, and he gets clowned on here by many of the same guys who extrude ***** on Strong.

Rumor is, Herman and Aranda were roommates in college. That was probably the deciding factor. No doubt, Aranda stays, IMO.

Well at least Herman knows what he can get or at least close to if the Fisher stuff is true.

That would be a big salary increase for him. When people here started talking about Fisher to LSU, I asked if anyone had information regarding the custody of his children. Unless he's primary, I didn't feel that him leaving would be something he would be willing to do.

They talked about this on one of the pregame shows today. Saying that it could be a 3-team battle for Herman between LSU, Texas and TAMU and that TAMU isn't going to go softly into the night.

I think that is his issue. I usually give coaches 4 years. However since Strong has been there he has upset a number of rank teams then proceeded to lose to a bottom dweller for 3 years. He does lack talent and maybe support but your team can't be that inconsistent. Strong isn't a bad coach at all but his time at UT has been quite polarizing. Some places aren't good fits.
