Goes to show you how good our RB room has become. Parrish is a starting RB on a Top 10 team. Yet I think most of us would agree that Martinez, Fletcher, Allen and Lyle are better backs.
I love ya bro but we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. No way Fletcher is a better back. No way Allen is s better back. Lyle is not better but has the potential the be. Martinez could be the better back.

Let's love the room we have. It obviously fits our offense. We needed changes and they have worked. Let's stop this chatter about a back that is good but clearly this was a win win.

I agree - I think it's very, very hard to argue that as of today Parrish isn't the best of the bunch. How they develop in the future, we'll see.

Funny thing is - by my eye test Brashard Smith may be the best of the bunch.

This is the rare case where between our RB's, Parrish & Smith - I think it's worked out the best for all of them.

When everyone on this board was talking about Chaney in high school, I was pushing Parrish. Nobody loves him more than me.

But the reason Miami wanted to upgrade was for November, December and January football, not the first few weeks of September. Let’s see how it looks when we are playing big boy football and trying to handle 235-pound linebackers with speed.

Him and Brashard though are doing really well. The others not so much.

He was a beast the first 3-4 games of '22 after he transferred in as well. Then his body broke down.

Ole Miss still wishes they had Judkins trust me. If he was there Ole Miss would be undefeated right now and he would be over 1000 yards rushing.
There's only 4 RB's in the Nation with over 1,000yds at this point in the season & Judkins isn't one of them.

If they wish they still had him, they wouldn't have booted him from the team in the first place.

See @DMoney post above. I've always like Parrish. Just don't think he would be #1 or #2 here. He'd get Allen's carries. I will concede he's much better than Chaney though. Too bad Chaney never fully recovered from injury and seems a little less motivated, as well.

Meh. 5.5 a carry. I really like Parrish, after all, I’m a card carrying member of the Henry Parrish fan club, but I don’t think this was a major loss for us.

Kinda butterfly effecting it, if he doesn’t leave, do we get Martinez? Likely no. And this same roster plus Henry and minus Martinez really doesn’t move the needle any, to me. I don’t think we’re really any better or worse. I’m rooting for him and have been a big fan of his game since high school but I think as far as Miami is concerned, we’re just as good if not better right now than if he stayed.

Respect to you and Memnon. But Martinez is a far better back than Parrish IMHO.
