True, but you can still tell a lot by the way he set up his blocks and always picked the right hole to run through on Saturday, regardless of competition. I love what he brings, but I think Knighton will be housing a few behind the holes this OL will be opening up this year. It would've been tough to find a worse running scheme for a back like him to play in than what Lashlee ran last year...his best is definitely yet to come.
May I give u some stats, bro?

So, when I see Parrish go for 114 at a 7.7 clip, or Thad go for 78 on a 8.7 clip, or some walk ons go for 2 TDs avg. 7.2 a clip, I’m sorry; that doesn’t say to me Thad is the new Gore or Parrish is the best RB we have.
We played a poorly coached BCU team, where the coach was making dumb decision after dumb decision, after dumb decision when his team actually had us wobbly in the 1st half. We played a team that was happy for the payday. The overreaction after a FCS game is typical, but we’ve been down this road. Go to the Richt regime, & u’ll find me in there also overhyping game 1 vs. FAMU from the scheme, to the ST play, etc.
Am I saying this is deja vu? No; fact is Mario is the best coach we’ve had since the early 2000’s. However, trying to dissect every nuance from a raggedy FCS opponent is not wise. We’re next going to play a bottom tier G5 program who’ve won a total of 6 games in 2 yrs.
What we need to do is wait & see where we r come week 3, then & only then can we have a proper assessment of this team.
