Henry Parrish wins Nat Moore trophy

I actually told somebody this today , there’s nothing **** about Parrish but he does everything good. Good vision , good not great speed / burst nothing that would blow your skirt up but he’s a natural rb.

I just think Knighton is that good.

You're spot-on.
He might even be a better "natural RB" than Knighton...but having coached against both of them...the difference is that Knighton is scary.
If you can hold up against Columbus OL and blocking schemes (they run a ton of Counter and Power) then you can contain Parrish.
Against Knighton you can do everything right on defense and he'll out-run an angle, break a tackle, hurdle a defender then be off to the races.

I wouldn't say he's "elite" at anything but...
He's got great feet.
Good vision.
Runs bigger than he is.

Most of his production can be attributed to great O-line play and the fact that Columbus will feed him all day. And he's likely to pop one at any moment cause of his vision and cut-back ability.
That was my understanding too

Someone compared them almost like a lite version of Yearby and Cook. Parish you know what you’re getting. Gets the job done. Knighton could be a bonafide superstar. Either player is a solid take but Knighton is a better long game.

Can we go after Parrish now and let the worst of the three move to a different position or school? If we aren't going to stack at OL, we may as well stack at another position.

yo man, I think Parrish is better than Knighton. See you in four years when I'll collect on that take. I like Knighton a lot, man, but Parrish is a certified dude.

You are gonna have to deal with these takes and accept that the recruiting sites are some bustas sometimes.
I'm here to ******* collect.

I’m so happy for Parrish in starting, I don’t know what happened to Rooster.

Parrish plays with passion he trains like X as if his life depends on it.

I mentioned many times here Parrish will give you his heart .

He’s been in the desert close to losing everything the U gave him a chance Parrish as you saw vomiting on the sidelines pushing till collapse.

We have a special player in Parrish enjoy him while he’s here here before his time is up and goes to NFL .

We had at least 5 running backs get carries.

3 of them were walk-ons. (is UAB guy a walkon or scholarship player? so maybe 2 were walkons)

If a guy isn't a starter and he's got nicked up a bit or needs to be punished...BCC was an easy game to do so.

Either way, Parrish beat him out for the job. Was re-watching the live broadcast this AM (I was at the game) and they spoke about it during the broadcast.

Granted it was hot, but the announcers said he was adjusting to Miami humidity. Isn't Mississippi weather basically the same?

In the era of NIL, I wonder about these 23-24 year old walk-ons we've materialized.
