Henry Parrish wins Nat Moore trophy

I’m so happy for Parrish in starting, I don’t know what happened to Rooster.

Parrish plays with passion he trains like X as if his life depends on it.

I mentioned many times here Parrish will give you his heart .

He’s been in the desert close to losing everything the U gave him a chance Parrish as you saw vomiting on the sidelines pushing till collapse.

We have a special player in Parrish enjoy him while he’s here here before his time is up and goes to NFL .

I think Parrish doesn’t have the traits to be “special” but definitely a reliable and good player at running back though

Bit early since rooster was bubble wrapped this game… I’d say Parrish should have had a spot all along no doubt. Kid definitely can run the rock and make some plays glad he transferred back home
Beyond early haha

This thread is spot on about him. The Rooster disrespect is almost at an end though

Granted it was hot, but the announcers said he was adjusting to Miami humidity. Isn't Mississippi weather basically the same?

Huh… adjusting? Isn’t he from Miami? He wasn’t gone long enough for him to need to adjust to the heat. I have a hard time believing that

I respect the input always Brock , I feel the best is yet to come with Parrish he’s never had the opportunity that Miami is giving him he knows it’s fleeting and will put his heart into thanking Miami for a shot of a lifetime every time his number is called.

Bubble wrap or Suspension?
I don’t know who mentoring Rooster but it’s showing even after a good year not much has sunk in sad.

He better be careful his time here is passing by and soon.

“ Oh my what have I done “

Wish him the best hope he wakes up soon .

Mario said Rooster had a soft tissue injury and was right at the window for him to return and it was decided to keep him out as a precaution.

Parish showed what he showed is in high school. A running back that makes the right cuts at the right time.
He was never a power back or a speedster. He just has the ability to avoid being tackled. It’s just something you can’t teach.
But he ain’t better than rooster imo.

But nothing has to be absolute. Why can’t we just be happy about the fact that we have a running back room full of very talented backs that each bring a unique quality to the table.
Power, speed, elusiveness, vision, receiving, pass pro.

Mississippi, it's worse, but you do get some change of seasons. Air is like soup in the summer with little to no breeze.

He can put up special numbers though.

His stats will outpace his measureables. This is just the beginning. I was bummed when we didn’t land him out of high school.

You can’t teach the way he churns out yardage. We are still underestimating him.

It was only Bethune Cookman but Parrish was a productive running back in the SEC also. This isn’t just some flash against an FCS opponent.

He makes up for average speed with plus vision, balance and change of direction.

He doesn’t have the physical traits to be elite but he’s consistently very good. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t lead the team in rushing this year.

True, but you can still tell a lot by the way he set up his blocks and always picked the right hole to run through on Saturday, regardless of competition. I love what he brings, but I think Knighton will be housing a few behind the holes this OL will be opening up this year. It would've been tough to find a worse running scheme for a back like him to play in than what Lashlee ran last year...his best is definitely yet to come.
