There's not one Saban out there, not even close. Meyer's also another guy that's an all-time top 10 college football coach. He's just overshadowed by Saban whom he had the unfortunate luck of having a career run parallel to Saban's at the same time.

Having said that, calling Jimbo an underachiever is asinine. He took over a dormant program from Bowden who ran that thing like Richt's doing at Miami - treating it like retirement. Instantly they started seeing success under his tenure as HC.

I don't know about you, I'm more relieved to have Taggart up in Tallahassee than Jimbo.

The whole SEC is throwing money around like it’s Mardi Gras beads and Miami has little chance of competing against the size of some of the “perks” as you call them.

Yeah. That's what Nevin said. He couldn't compete with the SEC schools. And he's the one sitting in jail.

Willie always have a little bit of that deer in headlights look. More like a HS science teacher or chorus director than a college head coach.

Don't get me wrong. I like Willie. I hope he stays 25 years.

I meant strictly from the blatant paying of players aspect.

They’ll get a top 5 class every year from here on out because they have a very wealthy booster network, they’re desperate to win, and they hired someone who will promote and encourage the mass paying of prospects.

I think the reason the kid went elsewhere was he finally got a look at Morks 5 play system in which 3 are dives and figured he’d be just plain stupid if he came here.Long and short of the matter is we suck and OU’s system is second to none when it comes to the passing game and showing off his talent.

In the end THE KID JUST SMARTENED UP !

Agree. besides, ATM has serious money - enough to compete with LSU, UGA, etc. Jimbo will dish out those bags and they will have consistent top 10 classes.
 
Why in the **** is this still going on? I swear he allegedly disrespects our team and instead of saying (**** him) this has stayed up for a week for no reason

I dont buy it. We were supposedly number 1 on his list and all of a sudden friday we were running behind oklahoma and uga naw #Smokescreen at its finest

I'm not defending richts play callling at all this past year. However, Richards did have 900+ yds receiving his true froshmen year. I think we Overlook that sometimes and this should be appealing to oncoming recruits
