Hasselwood update

**** this kid. Hope he tears all three ligaments in both knees on his very first touch of his very first practice at OU. ...Then suffers head trauma when he hits the ground.

It's one thing to not want to have anything to do with Richt and this offense. I totally get that. But what the **** is the point of playing us like this? What is this trend with recruits wanting to clown a legendary and once proud program like Miami?? You don't want to come here? Fine. Stay away. Don't waste our limited time and resources because you want as many teams as possible at your ghey *** hat game.

**** it all.
lol someone is taking this too seriously

Do you guys read articles from other sites? You do realize that recruits tell all of these recruiting sites whatever they want to hear? You do realize that often stuff gets published from info passed with unverified sources? This is why all of our recruits always get "bags", it's just an excuse by writers on 247 and Rivals to deflect the fact that they rarely have sources. Haselwood may have indicated to everyone that he was a Miami lean but there were plenty of signs he wasn't sure of this decision.

For those saying they know how much a recruit got paid, you are lying. Most of the benefits come after a recruit is in town and they use their celebrity status to get perks. Miami is no different than any other school in this.

If your Haselwood, who's offense do you want to plan in? Who is going to get you targets? Where would your family want you to go? What do you think Jarren Williams and Marquez Ezzard would say about choosing between Miami and OU?

Those points make sense for Haselwood to go to OU, but you have no idea if he didn't or didn't get bags like you have been eluding too in your previous posts.

If he is getting paid then he has not told anyone. None of the good in-state sources are reporting they believe Haselwood is getting paid. OU doesn't have a history of pulling players from Georgia, so if Haselwood is getting paid, why didn't they pay any other Georgia player?

So you know when every Georgia player gets paid or not?

A&M spent $75 million on Jimbo Fisher. They have money out the *** and spending that kind of money on Jimbo proved they were ready to get serious. Anybody know what their recruiting ranking is this year?

Those Texas oil men gonna make Bama look like the dollar store here in the near future.Keep an eye on aTm they will start pulling a bunch of other peoples recruits to their campus here in the near future. They're not paying Jimbo 70 million to finish 3rd in the West.Bet That!!!

Is this a joke? Are u talking about one specific guy in THIS class or in general? I coached at a high school in the middle of SEC country, that was regularly ranked inside the maxpreps top 25. I guarantee u would know who some of the players are. Ive seen a lot of benefits thrown around.

U.. Really don't think cash exchanges hands? Or u just talking about the guys Miami just missed on?

No doubt about it. They are the program that will finally overtake Bama. Give it a couple of years.

Nope. It’s Tennessee. Pruitt has the Saban handbook. And it’s already started. Check out their class and add the 5 star DT from Michigan. Pruitt is setting up Alabama north in Knoxville in terms of blatantly paying kids.

No worries though. Nothing will happen about it.

Neither Texas A&M nor Tennessee is going to challenge Alabama.

Alabama, Georgia, and Clemson will pull all the talent out of the south. Sure Tennessee will get a few but not enough to challenge UGA or Bama. I do like Pruit, he worked for the greatest high school coach and college coach in America. (Rush Propst, Nick Saban)

Also, I see Jimbo getting fired from Texas A&M. He has to fight for recruits against Texas, OU, and LSU. Not to mention playing in the SEC West. A&M just isn't as good of a brand as most other schools in the West.

LOL. Are you kidding me?

Jimbo beat Herman *** in his first full recruiting cycle. He got support, bags and an elite staff.

He’ll be fine.

Go look at 247

Texas and Texas A&M basically have the same class. A&M got 2 five stars compared to 0 by Texas. Texas has 2 more 4 stars. A&M also has 25 players signed/committed compared to 23 of Texas. Their average rank is within 3 tenths. Jimbo always had top classes at FSU but their look at their roster now. They have more bust then we do.

Outlets don't come out after the fact and point out specifically that player X and got paid X amount of money. That's not how it works. It usually funnels its way back to said player and/or family through side business's, etc..

Do you really think that there were no type of benefits handed out to Haselwood considering he's the number 1 ranked WR this cycle? OU I'm sure wasn't the only option for Haselwood, I'm sure he could've had at least half of the power 5 schools in the nation vie for his services. As far as OU and Miami goes, yes, I likely would've chosen OU as well given what we have with Richt and his stubbornness to adapt.
