Serious question: Does this look like the type of senior class that can win the ACC? I say yes.

honestly next year is his first real class. remember that Golden didn't have full year to recruit
 
This is the class Golden pieced together, his first "real" class will be Seniors next year.
 
He's had 3 years to develop these guys.

I don't want to hear any excuses.
 
Have to wait until his 8th year for his first true senior class. You know since the "gloves are off"

Mrs.golden why are you angry all the time? I know you dont like anyone talking about your husband but the guy just hasnt proven or shown to be a good coach on saturdays. All the fat ***** has to do is win.

I'm being lenient by calling this his first true senior class. He had 3 years to get anything out of the 2013 seniors. Granted, he extracted an astonishing amount out of walking corpses like Shayon and Gaines and Rodgers, but enough of the ******* hand holding.

Either he wins the Coastal in 2014 or get him the **** out of my sight.
 
We should win the coastal next year, hands down. heck we should have won last year but its actually the Sophmores that are stepping up big time IMO. Coley, Jamal Carter, Fig, AQM, Gus,Artie,Standish these guys in spring right now are leading by example and being vocal. They will be the reason we win the Coastal. they have a year experience and alot of confidence right now.some notable juniors are being leaders too. Perryman is the only Senior i can honestly say is a leader. We have quality depth which is what we have been missing so we will see a vast improvement in play on both sides. as long as the D is not making Mental Errors and playing like Dogs we can be really good. the offense comes down to QB play. we have playmakers we just need consistent QB play.
 
Goldens first senior class will be in 2019. The first one didnt count, then dont forget the cloud, dorito, the stadium, etc. Needs some more time.

With that said, win the coastal or get out of my sight.

I wouldn't call a class cobbled together in one month his first true class. No real due diligence was made. Plus he was jumping in at the point where we were left with just two verbals, no OVs scheduled and most everyone was already committed or had established relationships with other programs. The real first one is the one with Howard, Bush, Duke, etc.

This was a low blow but **** funny. I dont count this class as his first true class BUT he still has MORE THEN enough talent to win the ACC Coastal. No excuses. We dont win it this year and I will start to really believe that we might never win it under this regime.

The part that sucks for Al is that we actually have a pretty formidable schedule this year. Last year was the year he should have taken advantage of a BS schedule. And now the excuse machine has run out of batteries, the fan base is restless, the alumni are starting to turn on him, local recruits are starting to wonder whether he can bring it back..All this in a year where we play UL and NEB AWAY in two of our fist four games..Good luck Al.
