Golden still in play at PSU!

Butch, or any Miami guy for that matter, would keep this class together and then some.
 
You're a freaking idiot Franchise. What happened to Cook is a lock to go to Miami when everyone with a half a brain knew that wasnt going to happen?

So he doesn't go to PSU where he played, was captain, was an assistant coach but now wants to go to Vandy, a team he turned down when he was Temple's coach? That makes no sense. After all the speculation this past weekend, a post like this without a source/link just should not be made.
 
Al clearly wants the f outta town.

Very telling was Donna's comment over the weekend that "she did not know what was going on"

Seems like their is some serious friction between the admin and Al right now.
 
Some rumblings Donna and co. were ****ED and reamed Al a new one, even brought in lawyers. Say he's on a VERY short leash.

I think Al's announcement that he is not changing his staff is a big f**k you to the university.

Was he asked to terminate Dnofrio after the bowl game?

Greg Schiano, Rod Chudzinski, Curtis Johnson. Any guy with Miami ties. I'm not saying those guys per se, but somebody that fits that mold. Golden, for whatever reason, doesn't relate to Miami high school football as effectively as a Miami head coach should. The evidence for that is that other than Valentine, a lot of the other recruits made it known that they were committed to the school, not Golden. Young, Brady, Berrios, McDermott, all of the Booker T. guys, and Kaaya all said they would stick with the school should Golden leave. That's why I think a Miami person, my choice being Butch, would solidify the class and potentially add more recruits that are on the fence.

This might just be wishful thinking on my part, but he may have kept the staff together because he still thinks he has a chance to jump ship and firing members of the staff would complicate things.
 
Whether Al leaves in the next few days or at the end of next season, get me Narduzzi and has defense. Would love Butch but not gonna happen. Lets get a guy that can make proper use of the talent we have on the defensive side of the ball. Narduzzi is that guy

I still expect Golden to be announced as the PSU coach tomorrow. If that does happen we'll have a coach so quick it will make us laugh.
