Yea I don’t understand this nostalgia of Golden and revisionist history where our fans praise him for nothing. We’re Miami, we’re going to get top talent. He signed some good players but he also signed a lot more busts. Dude wasn’t very good. I wouldn’t even say he had a good eye for talent. Even with his misses his signing coincidentally coincided with the coastal being at its weakest and he still couldn’t win.

And I truly believed he overplayed the “cloud.” That man knew about the impending investigation.

But let’s be real. Those people were always fans of Golden and looking for an opportunity to praise him. Didn’t we go 6-7 with Al? Dude was the worst coach since 79. And he had more experience as a HC than Butch, Coker, RS and Manny.

True. But if he had made changes to the defensive staff and tried even a lick to keep a competent OC, he might still be here.
