Golden calling into QAM Now

4-8
Morris had more to do with ruining the defense than anyone. they were great early on. then we were at the bottom of FBS in time of possession and our lack of depth got exposed

You can't be serious with this garbage. Having Joe Montana back there wouldn't have changed that abomination referred to as a defense.

The excuse making on this board is reaching all time highs.

So an undermanned defense playing more minutes than necessary isn't a factor in performance?

Okay.

There are dudes on here that will tell you losing #8 had no impact on the defensive performance also.

They walk among us.

This is just a guess but uf had a terrible O n there D was still solid.

wow this guy is not scared of golden

Big O has always been known for not shying away from asking the tough questions.

He's a good interviewer.

Glad he's back on WQAM.

I had a very different impression. I thought he was atrocious. I'm not from Miami, so I have never heard this guy before. I thought some of his questions were kind of stupid, like when he said there was "no Jon Beason, no Ray Lewis..." at LB. Well, I'm not saying Perryman is that good, but he's still pretty **** good, and might be at a level of Beason. I am not the best judge of talent, though, so tell me if I'm wrong.

Perry's has had the better college career. In one season alone, he had more tackles for loss than Beason did his entire career here. I haven't checked all the stats, but I don't believe you'd find one Beason edges Perryman out on.

Beason, to his credit though, had the better supporting cast around him. That would obviously impact the stats somewhat. While people thought he'd be a decent pro, nobody foresaw how good he'd actually become at the next level.

Yes, like you....I thought the Beason comment was absurd. No Ray Lewis, no Ed Reed, etc....show me players like that on any team this year.

I rarely listen to radio anymore, but gave this a go. Fair interview all around and Al handled himself well overall. Big O, unimpressed.

My Panthers obviously thought he'd be pretty good as we took him in the 1st round! For one great, brief, moment we had Morgan and Beason out there in the LB corps!

Beason, as a college player, couldn't hold Perryman's jock strap. These dudes love denigrating the great players on the current roster in an attempt to suck up to Al.
