This is his redshirt junior year so eh still has next year for sureyeah, next year is his last year. it's 5 years from when he started. you have 5 to play 4. your clock doesn't stop once it starts/you enroll/start the matriculation process.

"Leave of absence" is a catch-all. Might have had some emotional issues. Could be anything.
There is a stigma attached to mental illness, and rightfully so, so sometimes people don't want to cop to that sort of thing. That's pure speculation though based on past red flags in Willis's history.
