CB

Howard: Want him to camp and/or workout. Hasn't done so
Mitchell: Pushing for flip

Jackson

Miami making VERY aggressive push with Jackson along with Jones. Hearing similar things with both

Jones

Really likes where Miami is in this recruitment

Odom:

Geo: Doesn't think Miami will get him

Mitchell (TE)

Geo: Feels good about this one for Miami, however, won't know for certain until tomorrow

Centers

Miami likely going to the portal for a Center after striking out on the Centers they wanted.

Ionata

Miami REALLY liked him, in great spot until the Bama offer.
Miami found him first, Bama picked up after we found him.
Part of a trend of other schools coming after kids we find first.

Cole

Miami first here also, No big schools recruiting him

3*s likely to be upgraded

Day, Thomas, Shavers

Most likely to Flip

McCoy (so long as Miami continues to push)

So on Scott.....He planned to commit to us after the visit?..... But then we finished 3rd at best for him?
This is what happens when moms eliminates Miami from consideration due to distance.

If you remember, D$ also had both Riley and Scott on commit watch that weekend if everything worked out. Riley followed through, Scott's recruitment imploded after the visit.

Right... and i'm not necessarily disagreeing with what was said. I just don't think it makes much sense lol. So the mom had to actually take the visit to realize how far it was? Google maps doesn't exist anymore? Starting to sound like a free trip to me. Maybe Mario "misreading" the situation is just a professional way of saying WE GOT PLAYED??

Lindsay is a mystery recruitment that I'd love to see us win. Seems to be high on us out of social media and like the fact he's out of his home state and now at IMG.

You the real MVP my G.

I can confirm, as I said all along, mom did not want Miami due to distance. He’d be committed right now if mom would’ve let him.

Mom wanted Notre Dame, settled on Ohio State.
Its interesting the two recruits on commit watch that weekend:

Moms wants Riley out of Bama (and we benefit)
Moms vetoes Scott's decision to commit to the Canes due to distance (to our detriment)

Wonder if mamma Riley would be willing to adopt Justin?

FSU feels good on McCray?

Lord if they finish with a better recruiting class than us…it’s going to be ugly in here. And I’ll be right there ****ed the f^ck off. Unacceptable to finish last amongst the Big 3 Florida schools with what is allegedly HANDS DOWN the best recruiter in the state.

That would have been the day my mom would have chose what school I was going to lol.
Couldn't imagine My mom not wanting me to go to the school I liked best "because it was too far away". Especially if the concerns had literally nothing to do with the quality of school/program/NIL. Like If I were that player, I'd be saying, raise my NIL to cover parents airfare and hotel to the games or some ****. Like when the decision is purely about distance, I think it's weird. I get staying home if that's what people want, but if you're already leaving the state, I don't see the difference in being in Miami or not.

Man f*** mama Scott ☹️. We really need to win the Jackson & Jones battles at DT. Seems like we're still trending for McCoy, Patterson, Trader, and Cole which is nice. Ahfua trending away is disturbing. And as expected Stewart, Breland, Stone will continue to be heavyweight battles so no shock there. We need to start expanding the corner board.

I posted this in the wrong thread so reposting here.

Update as of July 9th, compared to the thread I made on June 27th regarding the # of Top 250 kids committed in the ‘24 cycle.

23 ➡️ 27 of the top 50 committed (46% ➡️ 54%)

49 ➡️ 59 of the top 100 committed (49% ➡️ 59%)

76 ➡️ 93 of the top 150 committed (50.6% ➡️ 62%)

107 ➡️ 129 of the top 200 committed (53.5% ➡️ 64.5%)

141 ➡️ 167 of the top 250 are committed 56.4% ➡️ 66.8%)

I haven’t even published the numbers from 251 - 450 because they’re subject to more volatility when ranking adjustments start coming out, but things are very much in motion…and it better be the same case for us. There’s too many weirdly concerning aspects about our approach and false confidence to not be (at the very least) slightly alarmed at this stage, despite snagging Lightfoot. Both Ghandi and 1mur (true and trusted insiders on here) have alluded to this.

A&M kicked into gear and vaulted into the top 10. Texas surpassed us but is still lurking, waiting on some more guys. OU, Bama, Auburn haven’t really gotten it going…so when they do, these numbers will probably shoot up just from those three schools. FSU will probably land at least 1 top 100 guy and 1 top 200 guy with two scheduled commits on July 15th. That’s not including 5-star Charles Lester whom they’re favorites for (trying to fend off Bama) that announces July 30th. Again I will reiterate this - if these motherf^ckers finish with a better class, oh buddy will the rage be biblical on here. With me at the forefront.

All in all, eleven more top 250 players are set to announce by the end of the month (would bring total of Top 250 composite players committed to 71.2%). Obviously that doesn’t include kids that pop on their own or haven’t scheduled commitment dates yet, which makes up a majority. I also haven’t added Davon Mitchell yet, who’s certainly going to be a top 100 player.
