I 1000% know you can't get every kid or even every legacy but I do feel like if we properly recruited this specific kid that we'd at least still be getting lip service from him. Him visiting UiF and USCw is a joke.

IIrc Miami was his dream school but he still chose Purdue because of their engineering program. We don't have a chance. I'm guessing any other officials he takes will be for the free trip.

My neighbor grad Purdue Engineering. He is brilliant, can do anything! Said he was most impressed by the African kids, smart as ****. Said they don't cheat and still had the highest scores

Kid was all-academic Big Ten but it looks like he switched his major or didn't pursue the engineering aspirations- which I believe is even moarrr evidence that we didn't recruit him properly at all.
