I always wanted this kid and I hope we recruit the **** out of him. Purdue does have a strong Engineering Program, though. We need DLman. I hope we truly recruit him. He was leaning Miami b/c of pops once upon a time. Invite him back out for Paradise Camp and chop it up w/ him. He's still taking visits.
 
Is it out of the realm of possibility the kid really likes Purdue and informed us this winter/spring he's not interested? I mean why is that unfathomable to some of you that the kid wants to stay home?

Lot of buzz around Purdue right now, not as a national power, but as a program on the rise as their HC is excellent.

His dad received a PhD from Purdue so there's also that connection. There's also the fact that his dad passed away too so maybe the pull of his pop's undergrad allegiances (the kid did say he grew up watching Canes football with him) aren't nearly as strong as the pull of staying local now.

Ok maybe I missed it..He is a plus size athlete on the DL who is a Cane legacy ( if I am thinking of the same kid) and WE ARE NOT RECRUITING HIM???? WTF? Am I missing something here? Is this a "Joey/Nick Bosa" type situation where we have zero shot and the kid has made it clear not to waste resources?

Brohn will be gone in 2 years especially if either Kentucky school opens up.

If Tennessee would have gave him a serious look he would be there.
 
**** this ****. The gators just offered him a little while ago and he is taking an official to them in a couple of weeks. Wtf.... I want some ******* answers. Lol. No seriously wtf..
 
We could flip him if we peruse him again. Someone needs to send Coach Simposon his tape. I remember him being super interested in Miami but I don't think he was a take for Lazy A$$ Kul.

He's still considering Michigan and just came off a visit to USC. He's looking.
 
Engineering in a Big 10 school (Purdue, especially) = VERY SMART KID Going to work his butt off

Miami has an excellent Engineering program.
