Gators only willing to do "neutral" site to play UM

It is about $$$ but who has a harder schedule next year UF or UM?

I don't think it's fair to compare schedules before the season plays out. No one knows exactly how the season will play out.
But you want to compare out of conference scheduling before the season starts calling games cupcakes?

I don't think it's a leap to say that Idaho, Eastern Michigan and Eastern Kentucky are cupcakes.

A leap would have been to say Florida was going to go 4-8 last year.

Do you think it is a leap to say Bama is going to field a team better than GT? You can look at the two schedules and say which one you think is harder it just doesnt go along with your argument

WE WANT NICK CHUBB PICTURES

The idea of playing them in Orlando is actually pretty good. While it may be UF territory at the moment, it gives UM a foot in the door to persuade the region to convert to Orange and Green. It could be great for future recruiting.

How long before the Citrus Bowl is redone?

while that would be good, it wont happen bc of the distance from UFs campus. a lot of ppl attending the game would be area UF fans and students driving down from gainesville. also, a lot would be UF alumni located in Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville. Tampa and Jax are at most 2 hours away (Tampa an hour plus and Jax 2 hours). there are a ton of UM fans in the Orlando area, but I just don't think we would come close to outnumbering the Gator fans that would drive to the game. think of the ****tail party

Home and away or GTFOH

BTW, the gators are welcome to all the corn kernels in my shìt.

But why do you care so much about being out numbered? You get the game and the revenue you want.

Here's a few neutral sites for Mr. Foley: Met Life in NJ and Yankee Stadium! Otherwise, tell this prick to shove it! We own the Gator. They don't get to pick the site. Bleep them!

I have no idea what GT or Bama will look like come December, if you told me Georgia Southern was going to field a better team than the University of Florida last year I would have laughed in your face, but we all saw how that turned out.

Odds of UF playing GA southern again are about the same as UF agreeing to a home and home with Miami again.

We own the series and the last game. We can get plenty of other big name schools that are willing to do a home and home. It's that smug arrogance the gators prance around with like they have always been top dogs in college football and dictate to other BCS programs the terms as if everyone else is some kind of scrub program like Ga Southern. I hope Blake tells him to eat a **** and Ga Southern puts the gators down again, although I'm sure Foley won't make the same mistake of scheduling them again.

I mean how is UF going to get out of those Idaho, Eastern Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, New Mexico State, UMass and North Texas games?

LOL at UF doing a home and home with Miami when they play at Alabama every 14 years

FLORIDA – 2014 at Alabama; 2015 vs. Ole Miss; 2016 at Arkansas; 2017 vs. Texas A&M; 2018 at Mississippi State; 2019 vs. Auburn; 2020 at Ole Miss; 2021 vs. Alabama; 2022 at Texas A&M; 2023 vs. Arkansas; 2024 at Auburn; 2025 vs. Mississippi State.
(Permanent opponents in 2014: Home – Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, LSU; Away – Georgia, Tennessee, Vanderbilt. Sites alternate home and away through 2025.)

UF's OOC isn't any different than anybody else's. But you'll believe what you want.

UF's OOC opponents since 1990 (excluding FSU):

Furman
Akron
San Jose State (x2)
Syracuse (Away Game)
Northern Illinois (x2)
Southern Miss (x4)
Arkansas State
Southwestern Louisiana (x2)
New Mexico State
Houston
Georgia Southern (x2)
Central Michigan
The Citadel (x2)
Northeast Louisiana
Western Michigan
UCF (x2)
Ball State
Middle Tennessee (x2)
Marshall
Louisiana–Monroe
UAB
Miami (Road Game) (x3)
Miami (Home Game)
Florida A&M
Eastern Michigan
Wyoming
Louisiana Tech
Western Carolina
Western Kentucky
Troy (x2)
Florida Atlantic (x2)
Hawaii
Charleston Southern
Florida International
Miami (OH)
South Florida
Appalachian State
UAB
Furman
Bowling Green
Louisiana–Lafayette
Jacksonville State
Toledo

2014: Idaho, Eastern Michigan, Eastern Kentucky

Yup, just like everyone else's.

Who is a team that plays a tough schedule OOC in your opinion so we can compare?

What's funny is you guys will give a team like Ohio St. credit for scheduling someone like a Texas OOC yet give UF no credit for playing FSU OOC even though that OOC game has had more match ups where both teams were ranked in the top 25 than any other OOC game in the last 25 years. In other words, objectively speaking, its the best OOC game in college football.

And you guys are gonna have to make your mind up on this 'they haven't left the state in 25 years' thing. If we play Miami home and home each year as you guys want then we obviously won't be leaving the state. We only play 4 OOC games and FSU is a permanent one. If Miami takes the other slot then we are down to two. In order to leave the state we would have to schedule a home and home with a BCS caliber team because we obviously aren't gonna travel to an FCS team to play. So in some years we'd have 3 BCS OOC games and in others we'd have 4. No other school in the country is doing that on an annual basis but UF should do it to make Miami fans happy I guess.
