***** you lol. Man I hate what i'm seeing when I watch Miami and UF. The first year under new coaches with returning players STILL putting the same bs on film this year that they did last year. Us is mainly D; Toney prefers to play more man but with how bad our safeties are, we can't do it. Don't know why they just won't say "**** it" and play Kamari Wilson more since we're starting guys who's been starters since they were true freshmen and they still suck.

This D is soft and it's frustrating to say the least

This **** makes my blood boil
be like me and make the switch is all I can say to you

in 2001 I watched the volunteers come down to face a loaded uf squad. I watched travis henry destroy that defense and watched uf get their **** pushed in by a team that ended up losing to lsu in the championship and getting dog walked by kansas state right afterwards in their bowl game. I walked out of the house after that game and decided from that point on I was done with florida. Lo and behold steve spurrier said he was done too shortly after.

it's in their dna man you have to accept it at some point, uf does not handle teams that get physical with them well. Nebraska, TENN, FSU, Miami, they have a long history of getting rag dolled by teams when facing violent physical teams. Urban meyer was the one case where that changed, but even he couldn't maintain it and bailed.

steve spurrier is one of the finest coaches the game has ever seen, and if he had been at miami in that same span that he was at florida I do wonder if miami would have ever lost a game.

you know, i've noticed that too now that you mention it about the physicality. Our only physical and i mean PHYSICAL teams defensively since 95 (remember i'm 36 so that's as far as I can realistically go back) was the 96-98 defenses (coached by Bob Stoops), our 06, 08, and 09 D's (Charlie Strong), and then 2012 and 2013 under Muschamp (DJ Durkin and Dan Quinn). The rest of our defenses were/are always bend but don't break.

i'm pretty well schooled on uf being that I grew up in starke and moved to jacksonville not long after my early childhood. Danny wuerfuell and that 96 squad had people believing they were going to be one of those big time programs. But time shows a lot over time, that was an outlier with what 3? 1st round wide receivers. You had a 1st round rb in fred taylor as well, on top of that a young and hungry bob stoops. But you know what?

that team lost to fsu LOL. Stars and talent everywhere and they still managed to make warrick dunn look like barry sanders on steroids. Dunn just destroyed them in that game, it was hilarious what he was doing to them in that first half. If he doesn't have to leave the game in the national championship, who knows.

Trey Dean again….

Not that Trey Dean is any good but what was he supposed to do on that play? That should have been an easy first down and it was because of bad scheme, not bad players. (again, not saying they are good players but it wouldn't have mattered even if they were)

Did you see the scheme in the one at the top of the page?
