Yeah they dropped the ball with the buyout money. They invested it in a bunch of freshmen who won’t see the field for at least a year or two when they need a talent infusion NOW. They’re significantly worse across the board outside of quarterback for the upcoming season. They’re either going to have to use a ton of jag upperclassmen at a lot of positions or rely on true freshmen. Neither of which is good if you’re trying to win now.

Right now....currently...they are pushing all their chips into the middle of the table...on the hopes of drawing a royal flush in the April transfer portal.

Oh, plus all the "improved coaching" they will get from Racist Ron.

Outside of quarterback? I was repeatedly informed by gator fans that mertz was a dark horse heisman candidate. How much improvement could they really have?
