I used to text Josh from time to time. We met through Eli Drinkwitz when I was in the college game and he was just really getting started on a bigger platform. He talked about one of my rants on the show last year after the GT game when I texted him and basically said Mario has to be fired after that.Pate let me down. He’s really pounding the table for sec guess he must be closing in on a network job.
I think his recent South Carolina takes are absolute dog ****. Then Oregon got every excuse for that Wisconsin game, time zone, no bye week for a long time, great teams find ways to win with their c game.
Agree 100%. Used to listen regularly, show clearly changedI used to text Josh from time to time. He changed this off-season. No longer responds or reaches out. The SEC takes are getting brutal but I've seen it trending to this. It's funny because he used to be almost the opposite before he got to where he's at and has a bigger platform basically driven by SEC fans. Ironically, he's more SEC balls in the mouth now, with far more parity across the country, than he was when it was truly justified and you couldn't find a team outside of the SEC, and maybe Clemson and Ohio State, that had any chance at a title.
Now that Alabama lost to Vanderbilt for the first time ever, Georgia struggles with 3 of the worst teams in the SEC, Ole Miss loses to Kentucky, Tennessee isn't good, LSU isn't good, Florida isn't good, and he even says Texas should be out of the playoff with a 2nd loss and isn't actually tested (but the win over Texas is somehow his basis for Georgia being good) and NOW he gets to this opinion.
Blinded by parity and taking it like its cannibalism of the best of the best and contradicting himself every time he opens his mouth.
Don't even get me started on the South Carolina takes. I'm really pulling for Clemson to boat race them to see the spin job. That is nothing more than Beamer forking out info for public clout.
Yup and we got wrung for beating Cal. Did we not win with our "c" game. I like his show but unsubscribed. He is parroting the company line too much now.Pate let me down. He’s really pounding the table for sec guess he must be closing in on a network job.

I don’t see Clemson being good enough to boat race any decent team. I think South Carolina is about to curb stomp them. And it will leave Dabo cryingI used to text Josh from time to time. He has the Tebow factor…. Not great at anything but is tough has moxie and his team and players gravitate and follow his leadership. He appears unshakable and that makes up for his flaws. I’m not sure Napier can develop and get him and that team where they need to be. But the hoopla is about his intangibles more than anything else. They definitely look like a better team with Lagway than Mertz. Not seeing it with Lagway. I know he’s a freshman, but he looks like a good player in the making, not great.
He’s just not elite at anything and nothing on tape shows me otherwise.

Affluent ball coach or not, the woman spreading her legs for Brian Kelly isn’t going to be a 10. This is their offspring. Not everyone can Croot like Mario.**** that’s an ugly *****.

Just like with the SEC/B1G narrative of “take their ball and play their own game” it alienates too many of the other fanbases to be a viable growth strategy. As smart as Josh Pate is about marketing, he knows better than to take such a hard stance on being pro SEC. He must be getting paid to make these statements. They make him less popular than if he was more vague and showed both sides of the discussion.Pate let me down. He’s really pounding the table for sec guess he must be closing in on a network job.
