Gator fans still don't understand Billy after 3 years. His UL and UF teams play up or down to their competition which means every game is 50/50. In the Sun Belt he could get away with needing a last second field goal to beat a bad team. In the SEC, it means you are float around 500 which he has in his 3 year.

This win wont look so hot in a few weeks because LSU could absolutely lose to Vandy AND OU or either/or..they definitely are not beating them both. I think Venables is coaching for his SEC life in that finale against LSU btw. After OU loses to Bama..he might put it all on the line against LSU because they need to be bowl eligible.

So I say all that to say, UF wont get any real props from me unless they beat Ole Miss. But we all know that wont happen. That will be a slaughter house like the UT game. Kiffen needs "pretty wins" to make sure they get a high at large bid in the CFP in case they dont make the SEC title game.

Doesn't matter tbh, the SEC hype machine never stops. Everyone will look to the LSU game as a potential turning point and it will be used to help them land recruits etc

Have never understood why the media machine - networks, recruiting sites, etc. have such a love affair with Florida. Constantly looking to prop them up. Must have a huge alum/subscriber base.
huge alumni subscriber base...and uf alum in media places/outlets

out of no where all kind of uf stuff has hit my algorithim and its all positive / promoting stuff...i could care less about uf..so they are buying ads etc last night their locker room tour plays on my youtube as if i give a f lol

A 58% passer with a 7-5 TD/INT ratio is the savior.

If you take away Samford, his completion percentage is closer to 50% and he has a 4/5 TD/INT ratio.
He makes throws that not many QBs can make and gets the Gator fan base excited. The next drive he gets blitzed and throws into triple coverage for an INT. In the couple of games I watched, it doesn't look like he can read where the blitz is coming from so he doesn't know where his hot read is. That can get better as he get more time but its not for sure that he can pick it up. He has a very high ceiling and his floor is that of a good P5 starter.

There’s a reason why they don’t let him throw very often. He’s essentially the opposite of Graham Mertz. Mertz won’t hurt you with turnovers. He’ll lead the league in completion percentage while dinking and dunking up and down the field. His lack of explosive plays will pretty much put a cap on your scoring ability though since it’s hard to score a ton getting four or five yards at a time. Lagway has the big arm and the deep ball threat but for every drop in the bucket deep pass, he’ll throw two into double coverage and another two nowhere near the receiver. The explosive play is there but nothing else is. A poor man’s Stephen Morris at this point. His ceiling is much higher than Mertz’s but at this point he’s not a starter on a good team.

LSU had two INT's dropped. Lagway's stats should be worse.

by this logic, give him the 3 extra td’s that he didn’t get cause of our WR getting stopped at the 1 then
