If they'd been blown out by UGA and others, it would be over. Instead they think "We played those teams close, we're on the cusp of turning it around." LOL

I find it super interesting that this news dropped the day after Strictland gives Napier a vote of confidence. I’m not questioning the story. I do think it’s interesting that maybe sources came through to help bury Strickland, and advanced the story enough for the paper to publish it.

On the other hand, maybe the vote of confidence was due to him knowing this was coming out and he couldn't be made to look like he's firing both head coaches of his top programs at the same time. Bad look for him either way.
