Lol it aint much different from Beard for us. But the guy has something off about him. Starts coaching in 1994 at Kent State until 2001 (RB and WR), then Bowling Green for 2 seasons (WR), then Utah for 2 seasons (WR and ST) then Florida for their championship run from 05-09 (WR). I would say that is a solid career start. Cut his teeth, worked his way up but then he kinda stalled out.I don’t think it’s the worst given the options discussed. As I recall, he’s good as a developer but I don’t remember him being anything special on the recruiting side. Aside from Harvin, I think he worked with Van Jefferson, Swain, Toney and those guys. Shorter didn’t do much.
Jumps to WR coach at LSU from 2010-11. then Co OC and WR at illinois for 2012. Then WR coach from 13-17 at Miss State, then follows Mullen to be WR c oach back at FL from 18-21, and then becomes WR coach at FAU for 2022 now back at the gator this year.
Like how or why is he not getting a shot at a bigger or better position? Exclusively in the SEC for almost 15 years then goes to FAU as the same position coach?
