Tears Gator Tears

You know they’re really digging when they start going after attendance or “rented stadium”. They’ve got nothing substantial so they go back to their playbook. They have 17,000 allotted seats for students at their home games. UM doesn’t even have 17,000 students.

It’s a shame nobody wins the attendance national championship because that’s literally the only thing they still have to cling to.
It's so funny when they talk about it like " them kids are gonna see the half full stadium and be like ****". As if the kids live on Mars. Like we still ain't beat everyone azzes with the same dynamics. I have no idea how the Lizards in trashville dont know they have been trash for almost as long as we were down. They have not even come close to being good. And now we are ahead of them, the recruiting trail tells you as much. FSU has a better rank per recruit than they do and they are 18th and 19th. We tied for 6th. Jokes

Look, we have to call out the Gaytors' absolute BULLSH!TE when it comes to rationalizing their recruiting. Right now, when they are getting whupped on the recruiting trail, they are trying to blow off all of the recruits they miss out on. Because they are from "the West".

Wait a second...Florida wasn't a finalist for Rashada? Oh, yeah, he shouldn't count, he's from "the West". Same with Mauigoa and Wayne and Aguirre and Williams. NOPE. Doesn't count. Not from Florida.

Oh, but I remember a time not so long ago when the Gaytors were PROUD to be "national recruiters" of the very best talent. Remember Chris Steele? Yeah, I barely do either, but he was one of those national guys that the Gaytors (under Mullet) pulled to Hogtown.

And while we're at it, since they claim it's "so refreshing" to be recruiting "Florida players", let's look inside the numbers, shall we?

2023 - 10/12 Florida recruits THUS FAR, Gaypier bump year
2022 - 6/20 Florida recruits, Gaypier transition year
2021 - 14/22 Florida recruits
2020 - 15/24 Florida recruits
2019 - 15/24 Florida recruits, Mullet bump year
2018 - 10/20 Florida recruits, Mullet transition year

Both coaches struggled to land full classes in their transition years, and took who they could find. FYI, I did NOT count transfers, but I counted JuCo/prep schoolers back to their home-state, thus Diwun Black is a Floridian.

Gaypier is a bit more Florida heavy CURRENTLY for his bump year, but his numbers would be right back where Mullet's were if he had landed some big-fish out-of-staters like Rashada and Mauigoa.

But always leave it to a Gaytor to build false mythology about how Slingblade Billy Gaypier is a refreshing return to Florida-centric recruiting...

I mean Tennessee gets way more people into their stadium than the gator does. I guess Tennessee is just the superior program.

Yeah, but they're trash in a better conference. So like, that's something.

This mo-fo thinks he invented IPTAY (compare what $10 was 100 years ago).

Regardless, he would be lucky if 1/3 of all living Gaytor alums care about Gaytor football. A lot of those alums only went to UiF for a grad, law, or med degree (like me).

I'm one of those 470,000 living Florida alums, and I'm never giving a penny to Gaytor football, let alone $100.

Where the **** were you yesterday? I had to read other people's posts. It was frightening.

You have to love the Gaytors fans.

When a 247 writer posts something early, they FREAK THE FVCK OUT. They act like a premature crystal ball alerted the Saban Quick Response Team and soemhow cost them a recruit.

When Balake exercises journalistic restraint and doesn't disclose that which he was asked not to disclose, they FREAK THE FVCK OUT. Balake was "sitting on" information, and he could have "caveated" it and trusted the ever-trustworthy Gaytor Brandz Nation not to exaggerate or mythologize and incomplete or premature story.

You know, like the "Mario promised Citizen a starting job" story? Yeah, once one guy told one LIE like that, the rest of the board turned it into unimpeachable truth...
