I was similarly coming to post this comment. Just wearing that shirt is bad enough, but imagine deciding to make it your Twitter avi....

Please stop with the "socialism" nonsense, I'd be willing to bet you can't even orally explain what "socialism" is (hint, it's NOT communism, and don't run off to Google either).

"Everyone should get a piece of the pie" is a perfectly understandable concept IN A TEAM SPORT. No matter what Tom Brady's "work ethic" and "good ideas" and "willingness to fail" are, you cannot deny that he is assisted in his job by linemen and receivers and running backs. Nobody has said "pay everyone equally", but there should be some sort of a concept that every starter on the team is doing SOMETHING that creates value, even if some guys are the "glory boys" with all the stats, and others do the grunt work of blocking and whatnot.

Unless a particular player brings something bizarrely different to the table (like the Cavinder twins with their already-existing social media following), then we should encourage a system where all of the contributors benefit, some more than others. I don't think there's a single OL who would begrudge the QB earning more, but if the QB was getting $8 million and the OL was getting nothing, there would absolutely be resentment.

Now, if you are capable of going out on the field and scoring 30 points per game all by yourself, then by all means, be selfish and ask for all the money. Until then, it's not some big personal insult if the other 10 guys on offense get paid too.
I concur, the intent of my thought was to point out about the good ol boy gaytor fans who would talk down anything that would represent any form of socialistic thinking from a financial aspect and then make the statement about sharing the wealth in a socialistic way. Not here to be political as there are plenty of places for that, just here to try and dump on the gaytors.

We all know only some people are allowed to benefit from capitalism in their culture.

The Lifewallet site just says powered by MSP Recovery. So it is possible that Lifewallet is a completely separate company that has licensed MSP Recovery technology to do what it does. In that situation it could very well be a separate company. Also after the SPAC goes through Ruiz is likely to still be majority owner of MSP Recovery. In that situation he still has final say and as long as he can show there is a positive ROI than it likely is fine especially since as others have said Lifewallet actual has NIL with non-Hurricane players.
Signing non-Hurricane players further legitimizes Ruiz’s NIL deals. Certainly Ruiz’s motives signing other schools players was done with this in mind. Let me also say that Ruiz seems to be honestly trying to help the Miami athletic dept while also helping his companies.

All good my brother, good to chat with you in the DMs!

What in the world happened between Diwun Black and the others? Are any still on the team?

Well you know Emory now at Arizona State, Cope at Maryland, and Gamble at UCF. I rock w/Diwun but he gotta chill a bit w/that Twitter fingers stuff. He prideful about UF, I respect it, but they gone now and let that be that

@RVACane should we just stop posting in the Gator and Nole tears threads now? I mean, they're G5 level programs now.

From an equivalency perspective, we could just as easily have a UCF Tears thread as opposed to a Gators Tears thread and a FAU Tears thread as opposed to a Nole Tears thread. Maybe I'm being unfair to UCF and FAU?
